Minority males between the ages of 14 and 29 will have an opportunity to tell officials how Baltimore services can better meet their needs at a conference today and tomorrow.
The "Minority Male Charette" will be held from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. both days at the Baltimore Urban League headquarters at 512 Orchard St.
The event is free, but seating is limited; call 396-6422 to reserve a seat.
"We really want to hear from these young men," said Mayor Kurt L. Schmoke, who mentioned specifically the issue of police-community relations.
Also on Saturday, the Mayor's Committee on Hispanic Affairs will hold a free employment conference from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Sheraton Hotel Inner Harbor, 300 S. Charles St.
