Braves top Suns, 2-1


MACON, Ga. -- Mike D'Andrea pitched eight innings and gave up two hits as the Macon Braves beat the Hagerstown Suns, 2-1, yesterday in a Single-A South Atlantic League game.

Macon (13-11) scored in the fourth and fifth innings on RBI singles by Ray Nunez and Miguel Corria to take a 2-0 lead.

The Suns (16-8) scored the ninth when Kris Harmes drove in Mariano Dotel.
