Havre de Grace man reports dirt bike theft
A Havre de Grace man told police that someone had stolen two dirt bikes from the bed of his pickup truck sometime during the night of April 23 while it was parked outside his residence in the 1400 block of Superior St.
The stolen items, a yellow and blue 1992 Suzuki DS-80 and a red 1978 Honda XR 30, were valued at $2,900.
The investigation is continuing, police said.
$11,000 in guns, jewels stolen from home
Police are searching for someone who broke into a house in the 1300block of Sharon Road in Forest Hill and fled with $11,000 worth of guns and jewelry on April 16.
The suspect broke a basement window to gain entry sometime between 5 p.m. and 10:45 p.m.
Once inside the suspect stole a Smith & Wesson Maryland State Police 50th year commemorative .357-caliber 6-inch revolver, a Smith & Wesson .357-caliber Highway Patrolman 3-inch revolver, Japanese Nambu semiautomatic, a 9 mm German Luger, a .22-caliber Colt Woodsman semiautomatic and a chrome-plated .22-caliber 2 1/2 -inch barrel Harrington/Richardson semiautomatic.
Vehicle is burglarized while at Aberdeen
A man from Aberdeen Proving Ground told Havre de Grace policethat someone had broken into a vehicle parked in the 2900 block of Canal Court on Tuesday.
Taken was a Pioneer CD player, an AM/FM stereo cassette, a Pyle Toobz subwoofer, a CD cassette case with 30 CDs and a man's leather jacket.
The investigation continues. The value of the missing property was not reported.
