CUTTING: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who struck a resident of the 5400 block of Relcrest Road with his fists Sunday in the 1700 block of Woodyear St. The victim was taken to the Liberty Medical Center for treatment and released.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a woman and were holding her at the station pending charges that during an incident inside a house in the 1200 block of Whitelock St. Sunday evening she hit a man with a bottle then threatened him with a knife. The victim was not seriously injured.

STABBING/ARREST: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 200 block of Christian St. was admitted to the University of Maryland Medical Center after being stabbed in the back Sunday night during an incident in the 500 block of S. Bentalou St. Police arrested an 18-year-old resident of the 1800 block of Wilkens Ave. in connection with the stabbing.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 2000 block of W. Saratoga St. and a resident of the 3000 block of Pimlico Road of their cash and jewelry, all valued at nearly $1,800, in the 1500 block of N. Hilton St. Sunday night.

ASSAULT: Central District -- An out-of-town resident was in The Baja, a nightclub in the first block of Marketplace, early Sunday morning when a man struck him in the face, knocking him to the floor. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he is listed in serious condition with head injuries. A man was arrested.

RAPE: Central District -- A resident of the 1100 block of N. Marlyn Ave. in eastern Baltimore County was forced into the first block of N. Alley St. off the 500 block of N. Charles St. Sunday night by a man who raped her. The man escaped and the woman was taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment and released.

THEFT: Central District -- A 1987 Volkswagen owned by an out-of-state resident was parked in the first block of E. Chase St. Sunday when someone entered by breaking a window and stole a leather jacket valued at more than $200.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 800 block of N. Fulton Ave. was in the 5000 block of Park Heights Ave. Sunday morning when three men, one with a handgun and another a knife, robbed him of nearly $80. After the robbery, the victim was stabbed in the forehead. He was taken to Sinai Hospital for treatment.

ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 2300 block of Ocala Ave. was walking in the 2300 block of Anoka Ave. Sunday night when two men, one with a gun, approached. As the men neared, the gunman fired at least one shot at the victim, who was not hit.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 5800 block of Highgate Drive of more than $100 in the 3500 block of Ingleside Ave. Sunday night.

SHOOTING: Northeastern District -- A 14-year-old resident of the 4800 block of Truesdale Ave. was walking near his home about 10 p.m. Sunday when an occupant of a passing car fired a shot that struck the youth in the left thigh. The gunman drove off. The injured youth was taken to the Francis Scott Key Medical Center for treatment and is listed in good condition. Police knew of no motive for the shooting.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone entered three houses in the 3800 block of Eastwood Road Saturday and stole property valued at more than $3,000. Entry into the homes was gained by cutting a section of a rear screen door and forcing the rear basement doors of the other two houses.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Three bikes of various sizes and a circular saw, all valued at nearly $1,100, were stolen from a garage in the 3700 block of Ednor Road over the weekend.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 3000 block of Clifton Park Terrace was walking near his home Sunday afternoon when a gunman robbed him of his wallet containing nearly $200.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 3700 block of Ellerslie Ave. of a gold school ring, cash, wallet and head phones, all valued at $400, in the 2700 block of The Alameda Sunday afternoon.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 4600 block of Park Heights Ave. was in the 3000 block of Moravia Road

Saturday afternoon when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of more than $100.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A compact disc player valued at more than $300 was stolen from a house in the 3200 block of N. Charles St.

Tuesday by someone who entered through the front door.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a car parked in the 5000 block of Reisterstown Road Tuesday night and stole an in-dash radio and tools, all valued at more than $600.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 2600 block of W. Cold Spring Lane was walking a block from his home Tuesday night when a man armed with a knife robbed him of $50.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 7300 block of Mallory Court while he walked in the 6400 block of Frankford Ave. Saturday night of the nearly $270.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two men climbed into the McDonald's restaurant in the 4500 block of Erdman Ave. through the drive-in window Saturday night and forced employees to remove money from the cash registers while pointing handguns at them. The men escaped with an undisclosed sum of cash.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY:Towson District -- Someone entered the Record & Tape Trader in the Dulaney Valley Shopping Center in the 700 block of Dulaney Valley Road Sunday night through the front window. It was not immediately known if any property was taken.

THEFT: Towson District -- A 1991 Isuzu Rodeo was stolen from the 6600 block of Loch Hill Road over the weekend.

BURGLARY: Towson District -- Someone entered a house in the 1300 block of Glendale Road over the weekend and had piled several pieces of property near a door when the burglar alarm went off. The intruder fled, leaving the property behind. Entry was gained by breaking a rear basement door window.

PURSE SNATCHING:PURSE SNATCHING: Towson District -- A resident of the first block of Sotherly Court was walking near her home Sunday afternoon when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all of unknown value.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- Someone entered a house in the 800 block of Chumleigh Road over the weekend through a kitchen window and stole property of unknown value.

ROBBERY TRY: Garrison District -- A man who attempted to rob the Shell service station in the 7100 block of Liberty Road about 11 p.m. Sunday fled without taking any money when the female attendant began to have chest pains. The woman was taken to Sinai Hospital, where she was admitted for observation.

SHOOTING: Woodlawn District -- A resident of the 5300 block of Gist Ave. in Baltimore was shot at least four times Sunday evening after an argument with another man while seated in a car in the first block of Canwick Court at the Chadwick Manor Apartments. The victim was taken to Sinai Hospital, where he was treated for gunshot wounds to the head and both arms and is listed in fair condition. The shooting appeared to be drug-related. No arrest was made.

ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- A man who implied he had a handgun robbed the Royal Farms Store in the 5300 block of Old Court Road shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday of an undisclosed sum.

BURGLARY: Woodlawn District -- A security officer at 40 West Volkswagen in the 6600 block of Baltimore National Pike was making his rounds about 1 a.m. Monday when he saw three men breaking into the building. The men fled without entering the auto dealership when the security officer approached them.

BURGLARY: Essex District -- Someone entered the Giant Food market at Stemmers Run Road and Eastern Boulevard Sunday morning through the roof and stole an undisclosed sum of cash from the safe.

HARFORD COUNTY

THEFT: Joppa -- Someone entered a 1985 Volkswagen parked in the 900 block of Rumsey Place over the weekend through a side window and stole a stereo amplifier, sports equipment and other pieces of property, all valued at nearly $2,000.

THEFT: Street -- Someone stole an outboard motor from a 21-foot cruiser while the vessel was in the driveway of a home in the 2500 block of Conowingo Road between March 22 and March 26. The motor was valued at $2,500.
