Riviera Beach Shell station is robbed

County police are searching for a man who robbed a Riviera Beach gas station Saturday.

Police said the man entered the Riviera Beach Shell station at 8449 Fort Smallwood Road about 5:30 p.m. and told the clerk he wanted to buy $10 worth of gasoline.

When the clerk opened the cash register, the man grabbed the attendant's arm, reached into the register and removed several $20 bills, police said.

It was not known how much cash was taken.

Police said the man fled and may have gotten into a black Cadillac.

The man is described as a black male between 30 and 40 years old, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, blue work coat and jeans.
