Hyatt hires three agents in Annapolis
Hyatt Real Estate, an Annapolis-based real estate firm, has three new employees in its Annapolis office.
Susan J. Boyer recently joined as sales associate and residential/investment property manager.
Ms. Boyer has more than six years of experience in the Annapolis area as a property manager.
Hyatt named Vachel A. Downes III as commercial and residential sales manager.
Ms. Downes previously worked for Anderson Stokes as sales manager for the greater Annapolis area, beginning in 1985.
Tom Horner has joined the commercial division of Hyatt as an associate specializing in business brokerage.
Mr. Horner was recently with Harry Wolf in Baltimore, and has 30 years of commercial real estate experience in Maryland and Delaware.
Coffay is selected team player of year
Cecilia Coffay, an administrative assistant at Ginger Cove in Annapolis, has been named the life-care retirement community's team player of the year.
Ginger Cove's residents and management selected Ms. Coffay to receive the honor from more than 220 employees.
The award recognizes outstanding performance and customer service throughout the year.
Beyond her work duties, Ms. Coffay participates in some of Ginger Cove's volunteer efforts, such as a fund drive to assist employees at a sister facility.
Ms. Coffay, a graduate of Anne Arundel Community College, joined Ginger Cove in 1991. She is pursuing a business psychology degree through the University of Maryland.
Dana Taylor inducted into doctors' group
Dr. Dana Taylor of Pasadena was inducted into the College of Optometrists in Vision Development at a meeting of the group in Newport Beach, Calif.
The College Of Optometrists in Vision Development was formed 22 years ago to establish clinical and ethical standards and to certify clinical expertise.
Dr. Taylor attended 16 hours of educational courses during the meeting.
