Harbor Hospital Center plans children's health fair

Harbor Hospital Center is planning a children's health fair that will help children become familiar with hospital workers and reduce their fears.

Children can get free vision, dental, blood pressure, height and weight screenings during the fair, set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 27 at Glen Burnie Mall.

The day's attractions include a magic show, karate demonstrations and balloon animals. McGruff, the crime fighting dog, and the Safety-Belt Crash Dummies will entertain children and teach lessons. Children who bring a stuffed animal or doll can learn about medical equipment and procedures at the Teddy Bear Clinic.
