Two Queens Park residents charged with drug offenses

Two Queens Park residents were charged yesterday with drug violations after officers searched their home and found what they believed to be a small amount of cocaine.

James Raymond Lane, 25, of the 2900 block of West Almondbury Drive, was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Melissa Louise Schister, 19, of the same address, was charged with possession of cocaine and paraphernalia.

According to the police report, officers seized about six grams of crack cocaine and paraphernalia from the home during the 2:15 a.m. raid.
