Baltimore man charged in robbery

County police arrested a 23-year-old Baltimore man Monday night in the beating and robbery of a 24-year-old man outside the Fairlanes Bowling alley in Glen Burnie, county police said.

According to the police report, the victim, who was not identified, was walking outside the alley in the 6600 block of BTC Ritchie Highway at 5 p.m. when he was struck in the face and knocked down. The assailant punched the victim several times before taking his wallet.

The victim identified his alleged attacker, and a short time later, police arrested Michael Joseph Mitchell of the 2200 block of Cedley Ave. He was charged with assault and robbery, the police report said.

Two arrested in drug raid

County narcotics officers arrested two people on drug charges and seized nine bags of PCP and five grams of marijuana in a raid on a home in the 600 block of Delaware Ave. shortly after midnight yesterday. Richard Earl Hepple, 53, and Deborah Jean Mimma, 36, were charged with possession with intent to distribute PCP and marijuana, police said.
