* Annapolis Junction: 9000 block of Junction Drive: A 1992 Ford van was stolen between 11 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday from Graphic Fine Color. The van was later recovered at a former employee's residence in Ohio.

* Jessup: 9400 block of Route 1: Someone removed pallets from a trailer at Michael's Transportation between 2 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. Friday. Although the person told one witness that he had permission, police later learned that the trailer door seals had been cut, officers said. The mover is described as a black male, 30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 210 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt and blue jeans, and drove an 18-inch U-Haul truck.

* North Laurel: 9300 block of Whiskey Bottom Road: A man tried to enter a vehicle about 11 a.m. Friday, and later tried to enter a window to a house. Police arrested Jerry Eugene Howerton, 36, of no fixed address, and charged him with attempted breaking and entering.

9700 block of Tiger Lily Path: Someone entered an unlocked door between 10 p.m. Saturday and 3:15 a.m. Sunday. Police arrested and charged Ashley Edmond Mayes, 22, of Prince George's County, with breaking and entering. Police believe the alleged break-in was domestic-related.
