* Shipley: Westminster and Reese responded for a chimney fire on Hideaway Drive at 5:59 p.m. on Sunday. They were out for an hour and five minutes.


* Westminster: Two oscilloscopes, instruments used to measure electrical wavelengths, were stolen from the Robotic Systems Technology office in the Westminster Air Business Center last week. The instruments are valued at $5,354.

Lisa Bradley of West Main Street reported that someone stole the hood from her 1989 Ford Mustang while it was parked at the rear of her home Friday. The loss is estimated at $405.

Property valued at $40 was taken from the car of Mary Dufresne of Westminster while it was parked at Cranberry Mall on Saturday. The car was unlocked, police were told.

A radar detector was stolen Saturday from a car parked near Royer Road. The owner, John Sapp of Royer Road, estimated the loss at $26.

Shawn Kopalchick of Lutherville, Baltimore County, told police someone broke the window of her car and stole a wallet containing $20 on Friday. The car was parked at Western Maryland College.

Someone damaged the deadbolt lock on a door of the Caspian Soccer Pro Shop on East Green Street on Saturday. The damage was estimated at $20.
