A robber took money from a Brooklyn Park convenience store Wednesday night, county police reported.
Officers said the robber walked into High's store in the 700 block of Church Street at 10:45 p.m. and bought a pack of gum. He then demanded all the money in the cash register and tried to punch the clerk. The clerk turned over the money and the robber left. The robber was described as a white teen-ager, 5 feet 4 inches tall and 160 pounds, with a stocky build and short black hair, and wearing dark pants and sneakers.
