THEFT : Central District -- Someone stole a purse containing an unknown amount of money from a car parked in the 1500 block of St. Paul St. yesterday about 2:30 a.m.
THEFT: Central District -- Someone stole a car phone and a video game system from a car parked in the 200 block of E. Baltimore St. yesterday about 9:30 a.m.
SHOOTING: Southern District -- A 19-year-old man walking in the 3000 block of Stranden Rd. about 11:20 Thursday night was shot several times in the back by an unknown gunman following him. The victim, Jesse C. Wilson Jr., was in fair condition yesterday at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. No motive for the shooting was known.
ARMED ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- While approaching her son's apartment in the 1700 block of Freedom Way West at 3:45 a.m. Saturday, a 40-year-old woman was jumped from behind and struck by a man who pulled a knife and threatened to cut her. The assailant took $105 and fled on foot.
AUTO THEFT: Northeastern District -- A 1988 Hyundai was stolen in the 5100 block of Goodnow Rd. between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
ROBBERY, CAB THEFT: Northeastern District -- An unknown man hailed a Royal taxicab at 12:05 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of E. 31st St., got in and demanded the driver's money. He then ordered the driver out of the vehicle and drove off.
ROBBERY, CAB THEFT: Northeastern District -- A man who flagged a Royal taxicab in the 3200 block of Cliftmont Road about 4:20 a.m. Saturday placed an unknown object to the back of the driver's head, took an undetermined amount of cash and then stole his 1988 Dodge taxicab.
AUTO THEFT: Northeastern District -- A 1984 Toyota was taken in the 1200 block of Glenhaven Road between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 4:15 a.m. Saturday.
ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A man walked into a convenience store in the 2900 block of Harford Road at 7:50 p.m. Saturday and demanded money from the clerk. After trying to pull a gun from his pocket, the robber jumped over the counter, ordered the clerk to remove an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, then fled on foot.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: Northern District -- Someone gained entry to a home in the 5200 block of Midwood Ave. between 7 and 9 p.m. Friday by pushing in a window air conditioner. A .38-caliber handgun valued at $340 was stolen.
SHOOTING: Northern District -- No one was injured, but police arrested Ronnie Walden at the scene after he allegedly fired a revolver at his ex-wife and family as they entered a taxicab in the 600 block of Cator Ave. about 8 p.m. Friday. During the arrest, police said the suspect pointed the gun at an officer who snatched it from his hand. The suspect also was charged with assaulting a police officer.
ARMED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two 19-year-old men were offered a ride at 3:10 a.m. Saturday by an unknown suspect who said he was hacking. They got into the suspect's Honda and he drove them around the corner, stopping in the 5400 block of Crismer Ave. where two accomplices were waiting. They displayed large handguns and robbed the victims of $474 before all three suspects drove off.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Western District -- Two women jumped, beat and bit another woman on the arm yesterday morning. Police said they had no motive for the attack in the 2300 block of W. Baltimore St. about 1:30 a.m.
ARMED ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one armed with an unknown caliber handgun, robbed a man of $18 Saturday morning about 2:45 in the 800 block of N. Gilmor St.
SHOOTING AND ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Western District -- A man who refused to give money to a gunman was shot in the leg about 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 2400 block of Reisterstown Road. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital.
ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A man armed with a handgun robbed another man about about 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of W. Lexington St. Police said the robber got away with $60.
THEFT FROM AUTO: Western District -- Someone broke into a U.S. postal truck about 11:20 a.m. Saturday and stole five or six packages of unknown value. Police said the postal carrier
returned to his truck, which was parked in the 1700 block of Carey St., and found a side window broken out.
ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men in their 20s approached a man and woman on Fremont Avenue at 1:35 a.m. Friday. One pointed a silver handgun at the victims and the suspects took $450 in cash and a yellow leather coat valued at $200.
PURSE SNATCHING: Southern District -- An unknown male approached a woman at a shopping center in the 2100 block of W. Patapsco Ave. at 2 a.m. Saturday. He grabbed her purse containing $545 and fled on foot.

PURSE SNATCHING: Garrison District -- A man grabbed a woman from behind at 2:40 p.m. Saturday in a second-floor hallway of an apartment house in the 3200 block of Old Post Drive. He stole her purse and fled.
ARMED ROBBERY: Garrison District -- A man using a pay phone in the 3700 block Old Court Road at 6:10 p.m. Saturday was confronted by a gunman who demanded money, then fled with it to a red Honda getaway car driven by an accomplice.
AUTO THEFT: Garrison District -- A late-model green four-door Honda Accord was stolen from its parking place in the 9600 block of Reisterstown Road between 7:45 and 9:40 p.m. Saturday. The car had Maryland license tags SVJ-498.
BURGLARY: Essex District -- A burglar broke into a home in the 1200 block Homberg Ave. about 2 a.m. Saturday and began ransacking the place while the couple who live there slept in a second-floor bedroom. Police said the thief entered the bedroom and confronted the couple, who woke from the noise, saying, "Don't turn on the lights -- just tell me where the money is." The man escaped with $3,700 worth of property and cash.
ARMED ROBBERY: Towson District -- An armed robber wearing a Domino's Pizza delivery hat gained admittance to the store in the 800 block Goucher Boulevard at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, pulled a gun and robbed the outlet of $1,985.
ASSAULT WITH INTENT TO MURDER: Towson District -- A woman walking from her car to her apartment in the 1300 block of Colbury Road at 3:15 a.m. Saturday was hit in the legs and arms by pellets fired from a shotgun. Cynthia Hoyt, 21, was released after treatment at Francis Scott Key Hospital.
ARMED ROBBERY: Towson District -- Three people were robbed on the street in two nearby locations Saturday between 6:41 and 7:15 p.m. One person was confronted in the 6800 block of Blenheim Road, where a gunman ordered him to lie face down and give up his money. Two others were in the first block of Acorn Circle when a man confronted them with a gun and stole $17.
AUTO THEFT: Towson District -- A 1990 Nissan Sentra, with tags XXE-917, was stolen from the 7400 block of Blenheim Road sometime before 8 a.m. Saturday.
BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- A man returned to his
apartment in the first block of Gingerview Court about 5:15 p.m. to find an intruder inside. The man, described as black, thin, 6 feet tall, with a mustache and wearing blue jeans and a black jacket, fled to the second-floor balcony, jumped off and ran toward Cranbrook Road to escape.
AUTO THEFT: Cockeysville District -- A 1990 maroon Honda Accord was discovered missing from the 100 block of Othridge Road at 9 a.m. yesterday.
AUTO THEFT: Cockeysville District -- A black, 1992 Honda Accord with tags ZNX-396 was stolen sometime between Saturday night and yesterday morning from the first block of Merrion Court in Timonium. It was reported missing at 8:54 a.m. yesterday.
AUTO THEFT: Cockeysville District -- A gray 1987 Toyota 4x4 truck was stolen early yesterday from the first block of Mistywood Circle in Cockeysville.
