They were shooting footage for a segment that will focus on Carter's singing career, which she juggles in addition to her TV appearances as Julia Sugarbaker. The versatile Carter travels around the country performing with orchestras as well as at New York City's posh Cafe Carlisle.

Baltimore's Pompeian Olive Oil and Tio Pepe Chef Emiliano Sanz PTC could be called a perfect Baltimore production. Both will shine today at the National Food Brokers Convention in New Orleans.
Chef Sanz will serve some of his most famous Tio Pepe dishes, including shrimp in garlic sauce and pine-nut cake, while Pompeian president Roy Quinn and vice president of marketing Luis Estupinan will act as hosts.

Starr Arbaugh has received phone calls from all over the country since her appearance on NBC's "Today" show last week. Arbaugh, who teaches pre-first grade at St. Paul's School, got a call to appear on the show from a friend who works for "Today's" co-host Katie Couric.
