Catch holiday spirit at Arundel Singers' concert NORTH COUNTY -- Linthicum * Ferndale * Brooklyn Park * Pumphrey

Thanksgiving is over, and Christmas is bearing down on us.

What better way to catch our breath and get into the holiday spirit than to attend the free Christmas Concert presented by the Arundel Singers at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Brooklyn Heights United Methodist Church, 110 Townsend Ave.

You will hear a wide variety of holiday music and enjoy the soothing melodies. Everyone is invited.

The Brooklyn Park High School graduating class of 1978 hacompleted its plans for a 15-year reunion. The celebration will take place from 8 p.m. until midnight on May 15, at Council's on Patapsco Avenue. A hot-and-cold buffet along with beer and setups will be served. Music will be provided by a disc jockey. Tickets are $30 per person.

Brooklyn Park Elementary School news: Parents who signed ufor the programs "Children Are People, Too" and "Parent to Parent" are reminded that they will meet again tomorrow from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the school.

North County High School news: It's Parents' Club Night from until 8 p.m. on Friday, at the Burger King on Nursery Road. All proceeds will be divided among the three classes.

* An honor roll assembly will be held at 8:30 a.m., Friday in the auditorium. Doughnuts and punch will be served to the students after the presentations.

There will be an Alzheimer's Association Support Group meetinfrom 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, at Meridian Nursing Center, 613 Hammonds Lane.

The group offers support in understanding, coping with and managing problems care-givers face with dementia patients.

St. Rose of Lima School is sponsoring a trip to New York City oDec. 12 to see the Broadway musical, "Miss Saigon."

The bus will leave St. Rose, 410 Jeffrey St., at 10 a.m. and arrive in New York City around 2 p.m. The afternoon can be used to Christmas shop or tour the city.

Curtain time is 8 p.m. at the Broadway theater. Departure will be from the theater at 10:30 p.m. The price is $155 per person. Reservations can be made by calling 355-1050.

The Brooklyn Health Association, in conjunction with thMeridian Nursing Center, will sponsor its annual Thank You Dinner in January to acknowledge the support of merchants and neighbors who are so generous with their time and assistance.
