SHOOTING: Eastern District -- Police were seeking a man known as "Lenny" in connection with the shooting Monday afternoon of Carlos Spence, 27, of the 4700 block of Ellison Ave., in the 2300 block of E. Lanvale St. Mr. Spence is listed in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
SHOOTING: Southern District -- Derrick Jackson, of the 4400 block of Wentworth Road, was shot in the right thigh Monday night by a gunman in the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road. He was taken to Harbor Hospital Center for treatment and admitted. Police said no arrest had been made and a motive for the shooting was not known.
ROBBERY: Northern District -- A deliveryman for a Pizza Hut in Towson was robbed of $50 Monday night by a gunman after he delivered an order in the 1000 block of Woodson Road.
FIRE: Eastern District -- A vacant rowhouse in the 400 block of Worsley St., off the 2000 block of Greenmount Ave., sustained serious damage early today when someone, reportedly drug addicts, set fire to a mattress on the first floor. The fire, reported about 2:30 a.m., burned most of the first and second floors before it was extinguished in less than 20 minutes. A city fire investigator said people using the house for drug abuse escaped before firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.
ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A resident of the 3400 block of Lyndale Ave. was robbed of his wallet and $35 over the weekend in the 1100 block of McDonogh St. by a man who implied he had a gun.
ROBBERY: Eastern District -- Two men, one with a gun, robbed a deliveryman from Pizz-A-Bolis in the 6300 block of Belair Road of nearly $100 Saturday night in the 1500 block of N. Luzerne Ave.
ASSAULT: Eastern District -- A 21-year-old woman from the 200 block of Ballou Court was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital for razor cuts and abrasions after a fight Monday night with another woman in the 900 block of Valley St.
ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A gunman robbed a North Montford Avenue man of $21 in the 2300 block of E. Eager St. Monday.
BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Someone got through the front door of Stack Signs in the 800 block of N. Chester St. over the weekend and stole tools valued at more than $400.
BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Cigarettes, a 12-gauge shotgun and several bottles of cough syrup, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen over the weekend from Choice Deli in the 2000 block of Greenmount Ave.
BURGLARY: Eastern District -- A TV valued at more than $200 was stolen over the weekend from a house in the 1900 block of Kennedy Ave.
BURGLARY: Eastern District -- A .22-caliber Winchester rifle valued at $85 was stolen from a house in the 1600 bock of N. Broadway Monday by someone who entered through a first-floor rear window.
BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Someone used a key to enter a house in the 600 block of Gutman Ave. over the weekend and stole a TV valued at $200.
BURGLARY: Eastern District -- A microwave oven was stolen from a house in the 2200 block of Llewelyn Ave. between Sunday night and Monday morning after someone kicked in the front door.
DRUGS SEIZED: Northeastern District -- After being pulled over by police at Moravia Road and Moravia Park Drive about 9 p.m. Monday, a suspected drug dealer ran from his sports car and eluded both pursing officers and a K-9 dog. Police found in the car a box containing a large sum of cash and at least 1 kilogram of suspected cocaine. The district's drug-enforcement unit was investigating.
ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a North Ellwood Avenue man of his gold chain, diamond ring and $27 in the 500 block of N. Payson St. Sunday morning.
ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 500 block of N. Payson St. of $10 Monday morning in the 1800 block of N. Franklintown Road.
THEFT: Western District -- A TV valued at more than $100 was stolen over the weekend from a health clinic in the 1500 block of W. North Ave.
ASSAULT/ARRESTS: Western District -- Police arrested Charles Thomas, of the 1800 block of Riggs Ave., and Samantha Jones, of the 5200 block of Sarill Road, and charged each of them with assaulting the other with an ax handle Monday morning during a fight in Mr. Thomas' apartment.
THEFT: Western District -- Police were seeking a couple who stole two wedding rings, valued at nearly $2,000, from the occupant of a house in the 900 block of N. Monroe St. over the weekend.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men assaulted and robbed a resident of the 700 block of N. Carrollton Ave. of $300 Monday afternoon after the victim answered a knock at his door.
THEFT: Western District -- A man walked into Jumbo wholesalers in the 2100 block of W. North Ave. Monday and stole a case of cigarettes valued at more than $600.
ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a Lucille Avenue resident of a gold chain valued at $30 in the 2700 block of Pennsylvania Ave. Monday afternoon.
ROBBERY: Western District -- A driver for Harbor Linen Service was robbed of $200 Monday afternoon in the 600 block of N. Franklintown Road by two men, one with a pistol.
BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1000 block of W. Lafayette Ave. Monday through a rear door and stole a VCR, cordless telephone, desk telephone, TV and a pillow case to carry the property, all valued at more than $500.
ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 2400 block of Eutaw Place of his watch and money, all valued at nearly $200, Monday night near the victim's home.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A camera and TV valued at nearly $500 were stolen from a house in the 2900 block of Mosher St. Sunday night by someone who entered through a rear window.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 300 block of S. Payson St. through an unlocked door Sunday night and stole property valued at $200.
THEFT: Southwestern District -- Property valued at $235 was stolen from a house in the 300 block of S. Payson St. Sunday night.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property valued at more than $200 was stolen from a garage in the 300 block of S. Payson St. over the weekend by someone who entered through the front door.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 1600 block of N. Hilton St. was robbed of her purse containing $34 Monday morning near her home by a man armed with an unknown weapon.

BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- A baseball card collection valued at $5,000, a camcorder valued at $1,000 and jewelry valued at more than $6,000 were stolen from a home in the 1800 block of Towns Court Sunday morning. Entry was made through a rear basement door.
BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- Nearly $3,000 was stolen from the home in the 9100 block of Abigail Drive over the weekend by someone who may have entered with a key.
THEFT: White Marsh District -- A man took a 1983 Dodge out for a test drive from J&S; used cars in the 11200 block of Pulaski Highway last week and never returned the car, which was valued at $1,200.
THEFT/ARREST: White Marsh District -- Shawn Kirkland, 26, of the 500 block of S. Lehigh St. in Baltimore, was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with stealing 19 pairs of leather gloves, valued at $526, from a display at the Montgomery Ward store at Golden Ring Mall. Mr. Kirkland was being held at the station in lieu of $3,500 bail.
ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- A man with a shotgun robbed the 7-Eleven store in the 7400 block of Windsor Mill Road of an undisclosed sum about 2 a.m. Tuesday. The gunman escaped in a maroon car occupied by another man.
ROBBERY: Towson District -- A salesman for Towson Ford in the 900 block of York Road was robbed of an undisclosed sum Monday afternoon on the company's parking lot by two men, one with a knife. The men escaped in a silver or gray Toyota Corolla.
