Roy Rogers restaurant robbed at gunpoint
A gunman and an accomplice robbed a Fort Meade fast-food restaurant Sunday, county police reported.
Investigators said the gunman walked into the Roy Rogers restaurant in the 3300 block of Fort Meade Road at 10 p.m. and ordered the employees into the walk-in freezer.
The gunman blocked the door of the freezer with a cart before putting money from the safe and cash register into a pillowcase, police said.
The gunman was described as a black man, 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a black motorcycle jacket and faded blue jeans.
The second robber was described as black, 6 feet tall and wearing a ski mask.
