: Western District -- A 28-year-old city man was in critical condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday after being shot four times about 6 p.m. Saturday near his home in the 2700 block of West North Ave. A gunman walked up to him, announced a robbery, then shot the victim in the right arm, right leg, groin and stomach.
THEFT: Central District -- A car parked in the Avis Rental Car lot in the 300 block of W. Baltimore St. was broken into between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Saturday. Property valued at $1,104 was taken.
ASSAULT/ARREST: Central District -- A man was stabbed in the chest in the 1400 block of Myrtle Ave. at 7 a.m. Saturday. Kati McNight, no address or age available, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
ROBBERY: Central District -- A woman's purse was snatched in the first block of West Franklin St. at 11:20 a.m. Saturday. Property valued at $1,240 was stolen.
ASSAULT/ARREST: Central District -- A man was struck with a trash can in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Ave. at 7 a.m. Saturday. The suspect, Aaron Felveren, 28, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
ASSAULT: Eastern District: -- A girl said two youths punched and kicked her in the face at 8:40 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Washington Ave. She was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released.
ARMED ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Suspect armed with a handgun held up gas station at 6700 block of Harford Road and took an undetermined amount of cash.
AUTO THEFT: Northeastern District -- A 1992 Acura was stolen from 5600 block of Harford Road between 10:20 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. Friday.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- An apartment in the 2400 block of Bridgehampton Drive was broken into about 8 p.m. Saturday and property was stolen.
THEFT FROM CAR: Northeastern District -- A car parked since Sept. 7 in the 6700 block of Pulaski Highway was found broken into on Friday. Speakers valued at $600 were stolen.
ARMED ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A suspect with a handgun held up the Arby's restaurant in the 6000 block of Moravia Road shortly before 10 p.m. Friday and took $185.
AUTO THEFT: Northeastern District -- A 1987 Honda was stolen from the 3700 block of Delverne Ave. between 4 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.
ARMED ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A man was held up by a suspect with an automatic weapon in the 3400 block of Bel Air Road at 3:03 p.m. Saturday and robbed of $200.
ARMED ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A woman was robbed of jewelry at 5:30 a.m. Saturday by a man carrying a handgun in the 5000 block of Goodnow Road.
AUTO THEFT: Northern District -- A 1989 Ford was stolen from the 2400 block of Keyworth Ave. between 9:30 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Friday.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- A home in the 1200 block of Morling Ave. was broken into between Wednesday and Saturday. A television valued at $500 was taken.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Clothes and cash of unknown value were taken in a break-in reported Saturday at Betty Brite Cleaners in the 2800 block of Greenmount Ave.
THEFT FROM CAR: Northern District -- A radar detector and camera valued at $469 were taken from a car broken into in the 6300 block of Mayflower Road Friday or Saturday.
AUTO THEFT: Northern District -- A 1989 Buick was stolen from the 200 block of East Lake Ave. at 11 a.m. Saturday.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered through the window of a home in the 900 block of East Belvedere Ave. and took stereo equipment valued at $1,083. The break-in occurred between 7:30 a.m. Friday and 11 p.m. Saturday.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Just after midnight yesterday, two suspects came through the front window of a residence in the 3700 block of Roland Ave. Nothing was taken, and there were two arrests.
ASSAULT/ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men, one with a baseball bat, assaulted another man and robbed him of $30 at 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 4400 block of Craddock Lane.

ARMED ROBBERY: White Marsh District -- A gunman robbed a woman of her purse as she was about to get into her car in the parking lot of the Golden Ring Mall about 3:40 p.m. Saturday. The gunman, wearing a reddish-color jacket, fled in a gray Chevrolet hatchback driven by another man that was last seen traveling south on Philadelphia Road.
BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- Someone broke into the Smith Motor Co. in the 10,800 block of Philadelphia Road sometime between 9 p.m. Friday and 8:25 a.m. Saturday, breaking four windows. Two sets of keys to cars were stolen.
BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- Between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, someone broke into a home in the 9200 block of Oswald Way through an unlocked sliding glass door off a second floor balcony. Jewelry and money valued at $4,050 was taken.
BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Someone broke into an apartment in the first block of Fitzgerald Court between the hours of 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Saturday. The burglar entered through a sliding glass door and stole several items of unknown value from the kitchen table while the occupant slept.
BURGLARY: Towson District -- A man broke into a house in the 6600 block of Edenvale Road between 10:29 a.m. Friday and 10:33 a.m. Saturday by kicking in a side door. He took a 19-inch television set and jewelry of unknown value.
BURGLARY: Towson District -- Someone broke into a house in the 500 block of Woodbine Ave. between 11:15 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday. The burglar entered the house through an unlocked kitchen window and stole a wallet containing an unknown amount of money.
BURGLARY: Towson District -- Someone entered a house in the 500 block of Allegheny Ave. through an unlocked window sometime between the hours of 9:30 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday and stole a brown leather purse containing a wallet and unknown amount of cash.
ROBBERY: Towson District -- A gunman stole the purse of a woman putting bags of groceries in her car in the parking lot of the Basics market in the 800 block of Goucher Blvd. about 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The gunman escaped in a stolen gray Mercury Tracer with Maryland plates PMZ 860.
ROBBERY: Towson District -- A man was robbed of his wallet by a gunman brandishing a black semi-automatic handgun about 1:20 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Southerly Road. The gunman escaped in a new green Honda with a temporary tag.
ROBBERY: Garrison District -- A man was robbed as he stood at a bus stop at the corner of Park Heights and Slade avenues about 1:30 a.m. Saturday when an assailant held a knife to his throat and demanded his wallet.
AUTO THEFT: Garrison District -- A 1990 Honda Accord, Maryland plates XLY 011, was stolen from the first block of Crossroads Drive in Owings Mills between 4:45 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. Saturday while its owner was having her hair done in a nearby salon.
Harford County
THEFT: Fallston-Bel Air -- Several car dealerships, including Bel Air Dodge, Town & Country Motors and the Auto Gallery reported 10 to 15 cars vandalized and equipment stolen Friday night and early Saturday morning. Two Quarryville, Pa., men were arrested Saturday and charged with theft and malicious destruction of property.
BREAK-IN: Bel Air -- Someone broke into a home in the 900 block of St. Andrews Way, and stole a car phone and several household items worth an undetermined amount sometime Saturday.
