SHOOTING: Western District -- Sean Evans, 24, of Greenbelt, was shot in the jaw apparently without provocation inside a carryout in the 2100 block of W. North Ave. around 9 p.m. Wednesday. The gunman escaped and Mr. Evans was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he is listed in fair condition.
ROBBERY: Western District -- A man stole a woman's purse containing cash and property, all valued at $80, in the 1300 block of W. North Ave. Tuesday.
ROBBERY TRY/ARREST: Western District -- Several youths, one with a gun, beat a youth with the weapon Tuesday afternoon in the 1300 block of N. Bentalou St. while attempting to rob him. The victim's money fell from his pockets when he was knocked to the ground. Later, police arrested a teen-age boy and charged him with attempted armed robbery. The victim sustained minor injuries.
THEFT: Western District -- Sound equipment valued at more than $800 was stolen from a house in the 500 block of N. Carrollton Ave. Wednesday by a man known to the occupant.
ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2400 block of Springdale Ave. was robbed of $37 Wednesday morning by two men who asked him for a match in the 2300 block of W. North Ave.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Three men attacked a resident of the 1500 block of N. Bentalou St. Wednesday night in the 1800 block of N. Smallwood St. and robbed him of $30.
ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A 28-year-old woman was forced into a car in the 2000 block of Odell Ave. at Hollander Ridge Monday afternoon by a man she knew. The man took her to a wooded area in Baltimore County, pulled out a gun and robbed her of nearly $100 in food stamps.
ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A man who implied he had a gun robbed a resident of the 3900 block of Erdman Ave. of her money Tuesday night as she walked near her home.
ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A 29-year-old woman walking near her home in the 2000 block of Winford Road Tuesday night was assaulted by a man who robbed her of several books of food stamps.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Two men entered a house in the 2600 block of Robb St. Tuesday morning through a rear door and stole a TV and stereo equipment, all valued at more than $2,000.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- A TV and vacuum cleaner, valued at more than $1,000 together, were stolen from a house in the 1300 block of Pentland Ave. over the weekend.
THEFT/ARREST: Northeastern District -- A man was arrested Tuesday when he attempted to leave the Kmart store in the 5100 block of Sinclair Lane without paying for property valued at nearly $40.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- The occupant of a house in the 4300 block of Brehms Lane yelled, scaring off two youths who had broken into the house.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone with a key entered an apartment in the 5300 block of Goodnow Road Tuesday afternoon and stole a microwave oven valued at $200.
BREAK-IN: Central District -- Someone broke into the office of the Upton Planning Committee in the 1300 block of Dolphin St. Wednesday through a rear gate but was scared off before taking anything.
ROBBERY: Central District -- A woman was shoved down and robbed of her purse containing nearly $200 by a man in the 1800 block of Pennsylvania Ave. Wednesday evening.
THEFT: Central District -- Someone broke into a car in the 100 block of S. Eutaw St. and stole a jacket valued at nearly $400.
BREAK-IN: Central District -- More than $400 was stolen from an office owned by the Baltimore Spirit soccer team in the Baltimore Arena between Monday and Tuesday after someone entered the office through a ventilation vent.
THEFT: Central District -- Tools valued at nearly $1,200 were stolen Tuesday from a Harford Refrigeration Co. truck in the first block of E. Mulberry St.
ROBBERY: Central District -- A gunman stole more than $100 from Harbor Liquors in the first block of E. Lombard St. Wednesday.
ARSON: Central District -- Someone broke into the Century shoe repair service in the 200 block of Park Ave. early Wednesday morning and set a fire after pouring paint thinner throughout the building. No injuries were reported, but the fire caused at least $100,000 damage.
THEFT: Central District -- A .38-caliber snub-nose revolver and an overcoat were stolen from a house in the 1300 block of Madison Ave. Wednesday morning.
ROBBERY/ARRESTS: Central District -- Police arrested Allen Hill, of the 2700 block of Glenfalls Road, and Sean McGrudder, of the 6200 block of Robin Hill Road, and charged each with assaulting a resident of the 1800 block of Gough St. in the first block of Custom House Alley Wednesday night and robbing him of his 18-inch gold chain, a ring, wallet and $10. The suspects were caught by police following a brief chase down Water Street. All the victim's property was recovered.
ROBBERY: Central District -- A resident of the 2700 block of Guilford Ave. was robbed of $20 Tuesday night by a gunman wearing a black ski mask shortly after she withdrew money from an ATM outside the Maryland National Bank in the 2500 block of N. Charles St.
AUTO THEFT: Southwestern District -- Someone stole a 1985 Toyota Camry from the 3800 block of Woodridge Road Tuesday morning.
THEFT: Southwestern District -- A radar detector valued at $100 was stolen from a 1988 Honda Tuesday morning while the vehicle was parked in the 800 block of Glenallen Drive.
CAB HOLDUP: Southwestern District -- A Yellow Cab Co. driver was robbed of less than $100 Tuesday morning by a gunman in the 2800 block of W. Mulberry St.
THEFT: Southwestern District -- A 1984 Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen Tuesday morning from the 1900 block of Deering Ave.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 600 block of Brisbane Road was robbed of cash and property, all valued at nearly $600, Tuesday afternoon by two men, one with a gun, in the 500 block of Beechwood Ave.
THEFT: Southwestern District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 4600 block of Old Frederick Road Tuesday morning through a front window and stole property valued at nearly $600.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- A gold pin and a ring, both valued at nearly $800, were stolen from a house in the 300 block of Gittings Ave. over the weekend.
THEFT: Northern District -- A leather coat valued at more than $300 was stolen from a locker inside a building at Johns Hopkins University Tuesday afternoon.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 300 block of E. 30th St. through an unlocked door over the weekend and stole a compact disc player and several discs, all valued at nearly $700.
ROBBERY: Southern District -- A man was robbed of nearly $200 Tuesday night by two men in the 2300 block of Russell St.

ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- A gunman escaped with an undisclosed sum of cash after robbing the Sea King crab house in the 5200 block Baltimore National Pike Wednesday evening.
Harford County
BREAK-IN: Edgewood -- A trailer owned by Kinsley Construction in the first block of Business Center Way was broken into Tuesday by someone who stole an industrial saw valued at $700.
THEFT: Aberdeen -- Someone entered a garage in the 1400 block of Willshire Drive between Nov. 2 and Tuesday and stole a bike valued at $150.
