F & M Distributors Store, 242 W. 29th St. at Remington Ave. -- 10 a.m.: A ceremony to honor area women veterans. Col. Jane Carson, Army Nurse Corps (retired), will accept a donation to the Vietnam Women's Memorial Project -- the first memorial in the nation's capital to honor American servicewomen. It will be installed on the grounds of the Vietnam Memorial in November 1993.
