Public meeting set on Superblock

Glen Burnie residents will get another chance to tell county officials how they think the Superblock should be developed. A public meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Glen Burnie Improvement Association.

Officials want to "talk a little bit more about what they mean by community space," said Pat Barland, county commercial revitalization manager.

At the first forum in September, Glen Burnie residents said they wanted the approximately 5 acres along Ritchie Highway to include an area for community use.

"We hope to get a general idea of what the citizens of Glen Burnie would like to see built on the vacant land," Ms. Barland said.
