ROBBERY: Central District -- A man in a blue jacket and blue jeans robbed another man of $79 and a ring in the 200 block of West Chase St. about 7:20 p.m. Saturday.

PURSE SNATCH: Central District -- A man in dark clothing stole the purse containing about $800 and credit cards of an out-of-town woman in front of a restaurant in the 600 block of E. Pratt St. about 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Central District -- A gunman robbed a 23-year-old woman and her boyfriend of $56 as they walked to their car in the first block of East Lafayette St. about 10:10 p.m. Saturday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Central District -- Two men, one with a gun, robbed a 53-year-old man and a male friend of $38, a Tiffany watch valued at $700, and a gold-linked bracelet valued at $350 in the 1100 block of North Calvert St. shortly before midnight Saturday.

BURGLARY: Central District -- A home in the 2400 block of Linden Ave. was robbed between Saturday night and early Sunday by someone who forced open the front door. Items worth $2,365 that were taken included a 13-inch television, a VCR, compact disc player, tape deck, a portable television, a gold link bracelet, a cordless phone, microphone, stereo receiver, 25 tapes and a typewriter.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Someone smashed the rear third-floor window of a house in the 770 block of Dolphin St. between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning and stole a Nintendo game, a VCR and a portable Walkman, all valued at $439.

THEFT: Central District -- Someone stole $620 in cassette tapes from a car in the 100 block of West Lanvale St. between 7:30 p.m. Friday and 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

CAB HOLDUP: Southeastern District -- A Sun cab driver was robbed of an undisclosed sum of money and a handgun around 9:30 p.m. Thursday by two teen-agers, one of whom implied that he had a gun, in the 200 block of Aisquith St.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A 22-year-old man was walking in the 1500 block of Gough Street about 4:36 a.m. Sunday when he was approached by an unknown man who put an object in his back. The suspect fled with $700 in cash.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Two men, one with a gun, robbed a 26-year-old man of an unknown amount of money in the 100 block of South Regester Street about 12:25 a.m. Sunday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A man with a sawed-off shotgun robbed the 7-Eleven store in the 3100 block of Pulaski Highway of an undisclosed sum of money Friday morning.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Two men forced their way into a home in the 600 block of N. Belnord Ave. Wednesday night and robbed the 81-year-old occupant of his money. Before the men left, they struck the man and sprayed him with chemical repellent.

ROBBERY TRY: Southeastern District -- A 46-year-old resident of the 400 block of N. Streeper St. was forced into an alley off the 2500 block of Orleans St. Thursday night by two men, one with a handgun, who demanded his money. When the victim told the pair he had no money, the men fled.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone broke into Patterson High School in the 100 block of Kane St. Thursday and stole football equipment valued at more than $600 from a storage room.

ROBBERY TRY: Southeastern District -- A man who said he was armed with a knife and a gun tried to hold up the Convenient food mart in the 6400 block of Eastern Ave. about 3 a.m. Friday. When an employee asked the man if he were serious, the man ran out the door.

ARMED ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A 31-year-old woman was robbed of $30 in cash and a $150 gold ring Friday morning after an attacker put a knife to her throat in the 300 block of South Washington Street.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Someone stole $300 from a woman's purse, hanging on her closet door, as she slept in her home in the 200 block of Mason Court between midnight and 8 a.m. Saturday.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Someone cut the padlock from a yard gate at 531 South Macon Street and stole $940 in property between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Someone broke into a car in the 100 block of North Broadway between 5 p.m. and 11:16 p.m. Friday and stole $1,000 worth of tools.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Someone forced open the rear door of a house in the 400 block of N. Bradford St. and stole a color TV valued at $150.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A gunman robbed a 34-year-old man getting off an MTA bus in the 300 block Lanvale Street of $120 Saturday night.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- The Mount Calvary Star Baptist Church in the 1700 block of Milton St. was robbed sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning. An unknown suspect broke out a first-floor window in the church office,

entered the church and ransacked the place.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A man pressed a hard object into the back of a 32-year-old man on a bike in the 1800 block of E. Lanvale St. about 8:50 p.m. Saturday and stole the bike and $20.

ATTEMPTED CARJACKING: Eastern District -- Two shots were fired about 1:12 a.m. Saturday at the 51-year-old driver of a car parked in the 1200 block of Collington Ave. after the driver refused the gunman's order that he get out. The driver was not hurt, and the gunman fled.

ARMED ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A gunman robbed Michael's Grocery in the 1200 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. of an undetermined amount of money at 3 p.m. Saturday.

FLIM-FLAM: Eastern District -- An man took $180 Saturday night from a 55-year-old Jessup man at Gay and Oliver streets in exchange for six cases of what was supposed to be stolen liquor. The boxes, however, turned out to be empty.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northern District -- Someone robbed Harry Little's Pizza in the 400 block of E. 32nd. St. of an undetermined amount of money about 11:10 p.m. Saturday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone kicked in the rear door of a home in the 5200 block of St. Georges Ave. between 7:10 and 11:20 p.m. Saturday and stole a VCR, an Nintendo computer and jewelry valued at $2,173.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northern District -- A gunman stole $119 from a woman in the 2800 block of St. Paul St. about 2:45 a.m. Sunday.

CUTTING: Northeastern District -- A 27-year-old man was walking in the 4200 block of Harford Road about 1:30 a.m. Sunday when he was confronted by a man in his 20s who pointed a knife at the victim and demanded money. A fight broke out, and the victim was cut on the right arm.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A gunman took a beeper and an 18-inch gold necklace, valued at $480, from a 21-year-old man in the 2800 block of The Alameda about 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Three men, one with a gun, robbed the Supreme Restaurant in the 4500 block of Harford Road of $640 about 12:50 a.m. Sunday.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone broke through a rear door into an apartment in the 6200 block of Pioneer Drrive between Saturday evening and Sunday and took a scanner, a stereo and coins, all worth $1,140.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A suspect tried steal a jacket from another man during a drug transaction Sunday about 4:45 a.m. in the 3700 block of Oakmont.

ASSAULT: Northwestern District: A man walking in the 3200 block of Spaulding Ave. about 11 p.m. Saturday was assaulted Sunday by two men who took an unknown amount of money.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone pried open the front door of an apartment Sunday morning in the 4400 block of Liberty Heights Road and stole a rifle, a VCR and money, all valued at $1,400.

CARJACKING: Southwestern District -- A man with a handgun stole the 1986 Oldsmobile of a woman as she was getting into it at 8 a.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of Ellamont St.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A gunman robbed another man of $79 in the 2900 block of Lanvale St. Sunday morning.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone broke into a home in the 3800 block of Windsor Mill Road on Saturday and stole a television, camera, clothing and jewelry worth a total of $6,900.

ARMED ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Southern District -- A man threatened a woman with a knife in the 200 block of W. Ostend St. about 1:15 a.m. Sunday and took $20.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- A teen-ager was charged with breaking into a neighbor's home in the 400 block of Warren Road Friday night or Saturday morning, taking keys to a 1991 Jeep and a 1986 Chrysler and stealing both cars. Police arrested the man following a hit-and-run accident involving the Jeep. Timothy Eric Brown, 19, of the 400 block of Warren Road, was charged with burglary.

BREAKING/ENTERING: Cockeysville District -- Someone broke into a Chevron gas station in the 14000 block of Jarrettsville Pike between 11:45 p.m. Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday. One case of soft drinks and two cases of motor oil were stolen.

ARMED ROBBERY: Essex District -- A man who said he had a gun robbed an attendant at a gasoline station in the 1600 block of Eastern Ave. of several hundred dollars Saturday night.

ARSON: Essex District -- Several people were seen setting fire to a vacant home in the first block of Tidewater Lane Saturday evening. Damage -- estimated at $250 -- was confined to carpet, windows and the front door.

AUTO THEFT: Essex District -- A 1982 Chevrolet Cavalier parked in the unit block of Hydroplane Drive was stolen Saturday morning.

BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- An unknown person punched a hole in the wall of the Spencer Gifts store in the Golden Ring Mall sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning and stole more than $730.

BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- Someone entered the rear )) door of the Washboard Laundry in the 6000 block of Radecke Ave. Saturday morning and stole an undetermined number of cigarette packs from a cigarette machine.

ARMED ROBBERY: Wilkens District -- A man with a small black revolver robbed a High's Store in the 3800 block of Hollins Ferry Road of $70 about 4 p.m. Friday, pushing a woman clerk to the floor.

ARMED ROBBERY: Wilkens District -- A man with a small-caliber semi-automatic pistol robbed a High's Store in the 600 block of

Frederick Road of $150 about 7:30 p.m. Friday.
