BURGLARY/ARREST: Southeastern District -- Responding to a burglary in progress in the 2000 block of E. Baltimore St. early Thursday morning, Officer Thomas Colburn arrested a man who broke in and was preparing to leave after stealing several plumbing fixtures.
ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A 34-year-old resident of the 900 block of Nottingham Road was assaulted by three men in the 300 block of N. High St. Wednesday night who robbed him of his watch and money, all valued at $73.
SHOOTING: Southern District -- A Cherry Hill man was shot in the right thigh and hand Thursday evening by a gunman in the 600 block of Bridgeview Road while he was talking to several other men. Roosevelt Parker, 61, of the 600 block of Cherrycrest Road, was listed in serious condition at the University of Maryland Medical Center. The gunman escaped.
ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 200 block of S. Parrish St. was robbed of $360 Thursday night by a gunman as he walked near his home.
ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 3200 block of The Alameda of $432 Thursday afternoon in the 2700 block of Hugo Ave.
ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two women, one a resident of the 6100 block of Loch Raven Boulevard, and the other of Sparks in Baltimore County, were robbed of their purses Thursday morning by two men while they were walking in the 6100 block of Loch Raven Boulevard. The men escaped with cash and property, all valued at nearly $480.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone broke into a Volvo while it was parked in the 1300 block of Kitmore Road Thursday morning and stole two cassette players valued at more than $500.
ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 6100 block of Parkway Drive was walking near her home Wednesday when a man approached her from the rear and stole her purse containing $24.
THEFT: Northern District -- Someone broke into a 1989 Honda while it was parked in the 700 block of E. 34th St. Wednesday by breaking a window and stole a straw sun hat valued at $15.
ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 5500 block of Springlake Way was walking toward the back of his home at 2 a.m. Thursday after parking his car when he was struck over the head by a gunman who robbed him of a cardboard box containing cash and checks.
THEFT: Northern District -- Four tires and rims, all valued at $1,000, were stolen Thursday from a car while it was parked in the 700 block of E. Lake Ave.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Two VCRs valued at nearly $600 were stolen Thursday from an office inside a building at Johns Hopkins University in the 3400 block of N. Charles St.
THEFT: Northern District -- A 1990 Dodge was stolen from the 3300 block of St. Paul St. between Monday and Thursday.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3500 block of Cotwood Ave. Thursday through a bedroom window and stole a TV and a remote control device.
THEFT: Northern District -- Tennis shoes valued at $60 were stolen from a 1980 Honda Thursday while it was parked in the 200 block of E. Cold Spring Lane.
AUTO THEFT: Northern District -- A 1987 Chevrolet with state license plates TPT-417 was stolen Thursday from the 3100 block of Old York Road.
THEFT: Northern District -- Clothing of unknown value was stolen from a rack at Pier 1 Imports in the 500 block of E. Belvedere Ave. Thursday night.
THEFT/ARREST: Northern District -- Marvin Burrell, 19, of the 700 block of Argonne Drive, was arrested Thursday and charged with stealing a bottle of malt liquor from a shelf at the Belvedere Liquors in the 5600 block of The Alameda. Mr. Burrell was held overnight pending a bail hearing today before a District Court commissioner.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- U.S. postage stamps worth $15 were stolen Thursday by someone who broke into an office at Johns Hopkins University in the 3400 block of N. Charles St.
BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into a house in the 500 block of N. Carrollton Wednesday morning by forcing a rear door and stole a cassette recorder, stereo equipment and an electric mixer, all valued at $500.
SHOOTING: Western District -- Mark Brickington, of the 8200 block of Vosges Road in the Twin Lake Apartments in western Baltimore County, was shot in the left leg and buttocks Wednesday night by a gunman in the 500 block of Gold St. Mr. Brickington was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment. His condition was not immediately known.
BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into a house in the 900 block of Franklin St. Wednesday after cutting a window screen and ransacked several rooms. No property was taken.
BURGLARY: Western District -- Damage of more than $1,200 was done to a house in the 900 block of Franklin St. Thursday after someone entered through a rear door. A thermostat, fixtures, doors and the toilet were damaged or destroyed.
BURGLARY: Western District -- A 26-inch TV and tools, all valued at $680, were stolen from a house in the 1400 block of N. Mount St. Thursday after someone entered through a rear window.
ABDUCTION/ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2300 block of Madison Ave. was abducted at gunpoint by two men Thursday morning who drove him around the downtown area for more than an hour before robbing him of $40 and forcing him out of the vehicle.
BURGLARY: Western District -- A VCR valued at $300 was stolen from a house in the 1200 block of Whatcoat St. Thursday after someone broke in through a rear window.
ASSAULT: Western District -- An employee of the Lee food market in the 1000 block of N. Gilmor St. was struck with an ice pick Thursday by a man who was trying to leave the store after stealing a package of disposable diapers.
RAPE/ROBBERY: Western District -- A 20-year-old man is being sought in connection with the rape and robbery Wednesday morning of a woman inside a house in the 300 block of Bloom St. Before fleeing, the man robbed the woman of $140 and several pieces of jewelry.
ROBBERY: Western District -- An out-of-town resident was robbed Thursday evening in the 2500 block of Franklin St. by gunman he knew who escaped with a gold necklace, rings and $300.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone broke into a house in the 400 block of Gwynn Ave. Wednesday through a basement door and stole a TV and a VCR.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two residents of the first block of N. Rosedale St. were robbed of $280 Wednesday night by three gunmen in the 2400 block of Caton Ave.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Cash and coins, all valued at $350, were stolen from a house in the 400 block of Yale Ave. Wednesday by someone who entered through the front door.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 7600 block of Windsor Ave. was robbed of $90 by a gunman Thursday morning while walking near his home.
ABDUCTION/ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 100 block of S. Kossuth St. was walking in the 200 block of S. Woodington Road on his way to work Wednesday night when he was forced into a car by two gunmen. After driving a short distance, the men robbed the victim of $103 before letting him out.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone broke into nTC George's cleaners in the 4000 block of Frederick Ave. Thursday morning by forcing the front door and stole $60.

ROBBERY: Essex District -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a woman of her purse, watch and car keys Thursday evening after she got out of her car in front of her home in the first block of Sharondale Way.
ROBBERY: Parkville District -- A man who implied he was armed with a handgun and a knife robbed a woman of her $200, credit cards and other property Thursday afternoon on the parking lot outside the K mart store at the North Plaza Mall in the 8800 block of Waltham Woods Road. The man drove off in a white Volkswagen beetle with rusty fenders.
BURGLARY: Towson District -- Someone broke into a house in the 7200 block of Verbena Road Thursday afternoon by breaking a window and stole property of unknown value.
ROBBERY TRY: Towson District -- A man who pretended to be talking on an outside telephone in the 7200 block of York Road tried to rob a woman of her purse Thursday night after she got out of her car. The woman struggled with the man, causing him to flee without stealing the purse.
AUTO THEFT: Cockeysville District -- A 1987 Chevrolet Camaro valued at $8,000 was stolen from the first block of Queensbridge Court between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
AUTO THEFT: Cockeysville District -- Someone stole a 1986 Chevrolet Cavalier from the 600 block of Clovercrest Way between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. The car was valued at $1,200.
