Honored for: Being student chairman of the Carroll County Youth Drug and Alcohol Summit for the past two years, after two years of committee work before that.
Goals: To major in business administration at one of three universities to which he has applied.
Comments: "It just seemed like a worthwhile cause. We're asking the students what they feel the problems are and how we should solve them, instead of just the administrators bearing down on them."
