Moton pupils collect supplies for hurricane victims
Robert Moton Elementary School has adopted Bel-Aire Elementary School in Dade County, Fla., which was seriously damaged by Hurricane Andrew.
The school plans to collect books, school and office supplies for the students there. Cash donations will be used to purchase larger items such as bulletin and chalkboards. Materials are due at the school by Oct. 30.
Volunteers are needed to help sort and package the items.

A video camera was stolen from the Carroll Child Care Center on Greenwood Avenue. The camera, worth $1,000, was discovered missing on Monday.
