Duke's Car Wash honors top workers

Duke's Car Wash has announced the winners in its employee awards program for September.

Jeff Eberly received a certificate as employee of the month for the evening and weekend crew.

Other winners were:

* Day crew: Dan Smith, highest quality work; Cathie Kline, most dependable; Nancy Kaufman, best attitude; Kevin Dorsey, most improved worker; Ralph Dell, demonstrating most initiative.

* Evening/weekend crew: Scott Kreit, highest quality work; Cliff Gabriel, most dependable; Karen Frock, best attitude; Tim Meerschaert, most improved worker; Nate Lucas, demonstrating most initiative.

Bank announces income earnings

Mason-Dixon Bancshares Inc., parent corporation of Carroll County Bank and Trust Company, has announced a 35.7 percent increase in net income for the quarter ending Sept. 30, 1992, over the same period for 1991.

Sales consultant is appointed

Lexington Homes Inc. has appointed Jay Fulmer as sales consultant for its Beaver Creek Estates project in Finksburg.
