Police headquarters contract is awarded
The Westminster City Council has awarded a contract to design the renovation of its new police headquarters to Baltimore architects Colimore-Clark Associates Inc.
A council committee received technical proposals and conducted personal interviews with five architects before recommending Colimore-Clark, Councilman Kenneth A. Yowan reported.
The company's price will be $48,125, the lowest bid of the five.
City police are to move from the basement of the Longwell Municipal Center to the former Westminster Auto Parts store on Locust Street.
