BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Several hundred dollars were stolen Tuesday morning by someone who broke into Hair Masters in the 3500 block of Dolfield Ave. through a front window.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone broke into Maria's Chicken in the 3800 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Tuesday morning through a rear door and stole $50 from the cash register.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- A .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol valued at $600 was stolen over the weekend from under zTC the bed inside a house in the 5700 block of Narcissus Ave.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Clothing and several pieces of jewelry were stolen Tuesday night from the Sharp Hair Studio in the 4000 block of W. Belvedere Ave. after someone gained entry by breaking a window.

CHURCH BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Thirty cases of butter, each one weighing 36 pounds, were stolen between Saturday and Tuesday by someone who broke into the Gillis Memorial Church in the 4000 block of Park Heights Ave.

ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4100 block of Reisterstown Road was treated at Sinai Hospital for injuries Tuesday night after several men struck him with sticks and their fists in the 4100 block of Primrose Ave. No motive was known.

CUTTING: Southern District -- A man was cut on an arm by another man in a scuffle in the first block of S. Arlington St. around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

THEFT: Central District -- Someone entered a house in the 1800 block of Bolton St. and stole a 21-inch TV, VCR and a diamond ring, all valued at $700. The theft occurred on Sept. 26 and was reported Tuesday.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Someone entered a car while it was parked in the 1600 block of Eastern Ave. Monday by breaking a window and stole property valued at more than $1,500.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Several hand and power tools and a telephone answering machine valued at more than $1,700 were stolen from a house in the 700 block of S. Ann St. over the weekend.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- A black leather purse and a lamb skin coat, all valued at nearly $400, were stolen Monday from the trunk of a car in the 600 block of N. Central Ave.

THEFT/ARREST: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 800 block of N. Washington St. was arrested Monday afternoon when she tried to leave the Price Rite food store in the 1700 block of E. Lombard St. without paying for two packs of disposable diapers valued at nearly $23.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- A bike valued at $230 was stolen from the rear deck of a house in the 1400 block of Walker Ave. Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A 12-year-old boy was knocked off his multi-speed bike near his home in the 3400 block of Parkside Drive Tuesday evening by an older youth who then stole the bike. The bike was valued at $200.

THEFT: Northern District -- Tools valued at $1,550 were stolen from a truck owned by Bush plumbing and heating in the 1500 block of Clipper Road Monday while it was parked in the 2500 block of Park Heights Terrace. Entry was gained by cutting a lock that secured a door.

THEFT: Western District -- Two men were arrested Tuesday and are being held at the station pending charges they stole an aluminum door from a house in the 2300 block of McCulloh St. The door was valued at $90.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two teen-age girls attacked a resident of the 1700 block of Warwick Ave. from behind Tuesday as the victim walked in the 2100 block of W. North Ave. and stole $4 worth of food she was carrying.

STABBING: Western District -- John Wilson, of the 900 block of N. Calhoun St., was stabbed in the chest during an argument with a relative at his home Tuesday night. Mr. Wilson was taken and admitted to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment of a stab wound. The 17-year-old relative is being sought.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone broke into a house in the 4700 block of Dunkirk Road over the weekend and stole jewelry valued at $305.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A gunman entered Nelson's Place, a bar in the 2600 block of St. Benedict St. around 11 p.m. Sunday and ordered an employee to give him money from the cash register. After taking an undisclosed sum of cash, the gunman robbed a patron of $2.25 and escaped.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: Garrison District -- A gunman walked into the Diamond dry cleaners in the 8000 block of Liberty Road shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday and ordered and employee to give him the contents of the cash register. The man escaped with an undisclosed sum of money.

ROBBERY TRY: Cockeysville District -- Two gunmen tried to rob a 49-year-old Lutherville woman of her purse near her home early today but fled when she resisted. The woman, a resident of the 8300 block of Tally Ho Road, was stopped in front of her home around 12:10 a.m. when two men exited a car and approached. When one of the men ordered her to give up her purse, the other reached inside the car and grabbed onto the purse. When the woman held onto it, its strap broke. Both men then fled and were seen driving off in a car that was parked nearby. Police found the strap lying in the street.

ROBBERY: Towson District -- A 65-year-old Towson woman was robbed of her purse around 10:20 a.m. Tuesday at Loch Raven Boulevard and Aberdeen Road by a man with a knife. The value of the purse and its contents is unknown.

ROBBERY: Towson District -- A man who implied he was armed with a handgun entered the Little Tavern restaurant in the 1500 block of E. Joppa Road around 7 p.m. Monday and ordered an employee to give him money from the cash register. Instead of complying, the employee ran out a back door while the man opened the cash register and escaped with an undisclosed sum of money.

ROBBERY: Towson District -- A gunman entered Murry's steaks in the 6800 block of Loch Raven Boulevard Monday night and ordered an employee to give him money from an office safe.

BURGLARY TRY: Wilkens District -- Someone attempted to break into the Hair Cottage in the 400 block of Oella Ave. between Saturday night and Tuesday morning through a rear window but failed to enter the building.
