An unknown person made off with $84.50 after forcing open the money box on one of the amusement rides in front of K mart on Englar Road last Thursday, employee Andrew Sewell reported to police.

Nick Serita told police that someone broke into his house on Sycamore Street last Thursday and stole property valued at $2,010.

Property estimated that $1,000 was stolen from the Pleasanton Road home of Patricia S. Kohne by someone who broke into the building Saturday.

Burglars stole property valued at $250 Sunday after forcing a door at the residence of Kenneth W. Abbott on West Main Street.

Norman Leroy Humbert reported to local police Friday that items worth $480 were taken from his car while it was parked near his house on East Main Street.

An unknown person forced the lock on the car of Matthew Howard Cook in Bond Street Friday and removed property valued at $175, police said.

The front license plate and bracket of the automobile of Gaylord F. Albaugh Jr. was removed Saturday while the car was parked near his house on John Street.

St. Mark Way: A fire alarm sounding at the Carroll Lutheran Village brought equipment from Westminster and New Windsor at 1:31 p.m. Sunday. Officials said there was no fire.

Hahn Road: A report of a fire alarm sounding in a building brought fire equipment from Westminster and Reese at 4:24 a.m. yesterday.
