SHOOTING : Western District -- Dion Ashley, of the 3500 block of Holmes St., is listed in stable condition at Sinai Hospital after being shot in the left leg Saturday afternoon during an incident in the 2400 block of Reisterstown Road by a man known as "Pookie." Police said no arrests had been made.

OFFICER INJURED/ARREST: Southeastern District -- Police said Officer Ronald Carrigan, 31, a housing authority policeman, was injured shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday when he and another officer attempted to arrest a man during a drug transaction in the lobby of the Flag House Courts apartments in the at 127 S. Exeter St. Recovered from the man or found on the lobby floor following the struggle were more than 40 vials of suspected cocaine, police said. The second person involved in the drug deal, a woman, escaped. Officer Carrigan's nose was broken in the struggle. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released. Charged with assaulting a police officer, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and trespassing was Jack Washington Tyson, 19, of the 900 block of E. Lombard St. Mr. Tyson was held at the police station pending a bail hearing today before a District Court commissioner.

ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- A Forest Park Avenue resident was treated at the Liberty Medical Center Saturday night for a knife wound he received when two men attacked him inside his home. Later, police arrested two men in connection with the incident and were holding them at the station pending a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

CARJACKING: Northwestern District -- Two teen-age boys, one with a handgun, forced a couple out of their 1985 Ford Escort about 10 p.m. Sunday in the 2900 block of Norfolk Ave. and drove off. The driver, 29, and her passenger, also 29, told police a youth stepped in front of the car and waved them down. When the car stopped, a second youth with a handgun ordered them out of the car and told them to run in opposite directions. The armed youth and his accomplice got into the car and drove off. Police recovered the car about 15 minutes later in the 3700 block of Overview Ave.

ABDUCTION: Southeastern District -- A 24-year-old man armed with a .22 semiautomatic rifle entered a house in the 600 block of N. Decker St. through the rear kitchen door about 8 p.m. Sunday and forced his ex-girlfriend to accompany him. The victim, 21, of the 2100 block of Primrose Ave., was with several other people inside the house about 9 p.m. when the gunman entered and ordered her out of the house at gunpoint and into a red 1990 Ford Mustang with license plates YDM-500.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone broke into a garage in the 3100 block of E. Monument St. Saturday by breaking a padlock and stole hand tools valued at more than $1,000.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A 9-year-old resident of the 2500 block of Orleans St. was riding his 10-speed bike in the 2500 block of Jefferson St. Saturday when a teen-age gunman forced him off the bike and stole it. The child was not injured. The bike was valued at $120.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Someone smashed a window to a car in the 1700 block of Estern Ave. Saturday and stole property valued at more than $1,000.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Someone broke into a car in the 1300 block of Eastern Ave. between Saturday night and Sunday morning and stole property valued at $1,665.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- A 1989 Ford owned by an out-of-town resident was broken into Saturday night in the 1600 block of Bank St. by someone who forced open a side window. Taken was property valued at nearly $2,500.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A 42-year-old resident of the 2100 block of E. Pratt St. was walking in the 200 block of S. Collington Ave. early Sunday morning when he was attacked by another man, who robbed him of $70.

STOLEN CAR: Southeastern District -- A 1985 Pontiac Firebird owned by a resident of the 2300 block of Sherwood Lane was stolen between Saturday night and Sunday morning from the 500 block of S. Caroline St.

AUTO THEFT: Southeastern District -- A 1990 Mazda with license plates XYW-280 was stolen Sunday from the 1600 block of Bank St.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone broke into a home in the 600 block of S. Bouldin St. Sunday by knocking a hole in an exterior wall and stole property of unknown value.

Southeastern District -- A dictation machine, cassette tapes and other property were stolen from a car Sunday while it was parked in the 2100 block of Aliceanna St.

STOLEN MOTORCYCLE: Southeastern District -- A 1985 Honda motorcycle was stolen Saturday night or Sunday morning from the 1700 block of S. Clinton St.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- A BMX bike valued at $140 was stolen Saturday afternoon from the back yard of a home in the 800 block of S. Port St.

ROBBERY/ARRESTS: Central District -- Three men were arrested Sunday and were expected to be charged with robbing a resident of the first block of Ambo Circle, eastern Baltimore County, of more than $600 after attacking him in the 1700 block of Eutaw Place early Sunday morning.

THEFT: Central District -- Someone broke into a 1981 Cadillac owned by a Dundalk resident while it was in the 300 block of St. Paul St. Sunday afternoon and stole property valued at $437.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A Checker cab driver was robbed at gunpoint of $45 about 4 a.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of W. Belvedere Ave. After picking up the passenger at 3:40 a.m., the man told the cabbie to drive off. Before the cab went a block, the passenger ordered the cabbie to stop and demanded his money while pointing a handgun at him.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 3600 block of Hicks Ave. of his 1980 Toyota around 2 a.m. Sunday after the victim gave them a ride to a bus stop in the 3000 block of Druid Lake Park Drive. Police said the car, bearing license plates ZZN-887, had not be recovered.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone broke into the Panache beauty salon in the 3400 block of Dolfield Ave. Saturday night or Sunday morning by forcing a window and stole $20.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A teen-age resident of the 4000 block of Bonner Road was riding a 20-inch bike in the 4000 block of Woodhaven Ave. Sunday afternoon when he was stopped by an older youth who stole the bike and rode off. The bike was valued at $70.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3500 block of Wild Cherry Road in the Lynn Acres section of Baltimnore County was in the 4500 block of Liberty Heights Ave. about noon Sunday when she was threatened by a man armed with an unknown object who robbed her of $40 and a watch worth about $50.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A man threatened an employee of the 7-Eleven store in the 3600 block of Dolfield Ave. and robbed him of three bank bags containing an undisclosed sum about 6:40 p.m. Sunday as he made a night deposit at the Maryland National Bank in the 4400 block of Park Heights Ave.

SCHOOL BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone broke into the Herring Run Middle School in the 5000 block of Sinclair Lane between Friday night and Sunday morning by opening a window and stole property of unknown value.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A VCR valued at $300 was stolen from a house in the 4200 block of Clareway Sunday after someone gained entry through a rear window.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A gunman stopped a resident of the 3700 block of Bonview Ave. while she walked in the 3600 block of Chesterfield Ave. Sunday night and robbed her of $2.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- A radio valued at $300 was stolen from a car while it was parked in the 1300 block of Winston Ave. between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the first block of N. Vincent St. was walking in the 1500 block of W. Baltimore St. about 7 p.m. Saturday when he was attacked by a man who shoved him to the pavement and robbed him of $20.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1100 block of N. Carrollton Ave. was walking across the school grounds in the 1200 block of N. Carrollton Ave. about 8 p.m. Saturday when she was assaulted by a two men who shoved her to the ground and stole her purse containing a small sum and personal property.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- A female resident of the 1100 block of Riggs Ave. was robbed of $11 late Saturday night by a man who accosted her as she walked in the 1400 block of Mosher St. Later, a man was arrested in the case.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into a house in the 700 block of N. Carrollton Ave. Saturday night by forcing the front door and stole a radio valued at $50.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A TV and a VCR, all valued at $648, were stolen Saturday after someone broke into a house in the 1600 block of McKean Ave. by opening a kitchen window.

CUTTING: Western District -- Herbert Hodges, of the 700 block of N. Fulton Ave., was in the 1000 block of N. Arlington Ave. Oct. 8 when he was chased by several men, one armed with a knife, who cut him on the chest. Mr. Hodges went to the University of Maryland Medical Center the next day and was released after treatment. The attacked was reported later.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Herman Gassaway, of the 1600 block of Bakbury Court, was in the 1800 block of Lorman St. Saturday evening when he was attacked by a man who struck him over the head with a blunt object for no apparent reason. Mr. Gassaway was not seriously injured.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men attacked a resident of the 1800 block of N. Pulaski St. while she was in the 1300 block of N. Bruce St. Sunday morning and robbed her of $55.

THEFT/ARREST: Southwestern District -- A man was arrested Sunday morning when he attempted to leave the Super Fresh store in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave. without paying for several food items.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone broke into a storage locker in the 3200 block of Wilkens Ave. between Saturday night and Sunday morning by cutting a padlock and stole curtains, window shades and a table, all valued at more than $1,000.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 100 block of Siegwart Lane was walking in the 3800 block of Old Frederick Road Sunday night when a gunman robbed him of property valued at $10.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- Two leather chairs valued at $800 were stolen from the front porch of a home in the 300 block of Mount Holly St. early Sunday morning.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Nearly $900 was stolen from an apartment in the 2200 block of Roslyn Ave. between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 1100 block of Seminole Ave. Sunday morning of nearly $14 while the victim was in the 4600 block of Edmondson Ave.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- Two CB radios valued at $200 were stolen from the Shiloh Community Christian Church in the 2500 block of W. Lombard St. Oct. 4. The incident was reported over the weekend.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY/ARREST: Woodlawn District -- Two teen-age boys were arrested about 3 a.m. Monday and were to be charged with breaking into the Cross Country Cycle Shop in the 2100 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. and stealing bicycle parts of unknown value. The boys were spotted walking away from the shop by police responding to the break-in. Following a chase that included a K-9 unit, the boys were arrested near the scene. Entry was through a rear window.

ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- Two well-dressed men, one with a handgun, robbed the Party Shop in the 7100 block of Security Boulevard at 11 a.m. Sunday of an undisclosed sum. The men escaped in a dark-colored car.

RAPE: Woodlawn District -- A 17-year-old Randallstown girl was raped Saturday night after she got off a MTA bus at Liberty and Old Court roads. The victim was walking down Old Court Road about 10 p.m. when she was grabbed by two men who pulled her behind some bushes and raped her. During the attack, one of the men struck the girl in the face. On Sunday morning, the girl went to the Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore for treatment.
