The Broadway hit "Catskills on Broadway," a look at the days when vaudeville ruled the stage and comedians were the kings of the Catskills, will run March 2-7 at the Lyric Theatre, according to the Baltimore Center for the Performing Arts. Dancers throughout Maryland can apply for the 1993 "Maryland Dance Showcase: Workshop for Choreographers" scheduled for Jan. 11-16 at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
This year's workshop will concentrate on body-dance therapy, led by movement analysts Martha Eddy,a teacher at the Laban Institute for Movement Studies, and Robert Ellis Dunn, a founding member of the Judson Dance Theatre.

Handel Choir concert
The opening subscription concert of the Handel Choir will begin at 2 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Basilica of the Assumption rather than at 3 p.m. as the choir previously announced. In addition, the choir will also hold further auditions in the soprano, tenor and bass sections for its holiday Messiah concerts. Rehearsals are from 7:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays.
