1991 record: 7-3.

Returnees: Seniors Tim Bowerman (QB), John Milisitz (SE), Danny Probst (DT) and Chad Dubeau (OL); juniors Ron Green (DE) and Sean Miller (DB).

Newcomers: Seniors Colin Walsh (LG), John Miller (SE) and Charlie Fresty (DE); juniors Chad Moran (TE), Matt Long (FB), Lex Korwek (OT) and Brian Morehead (QB).

Coach's outlook: "We're real young, real young. I'm starting to look at birthdays right now and it looks like they're 16 years old. When I say they're young, I don't mean they didn't play much. I mean they're young. I think North County is going to be the class of the league. We'll be in the top three. We're waiting for the pot to boil."

Anne Arundel County Sun outlook: Just talking about how many players departed from last year, and the youth of this year's team, should make Borland's blood boil. Instead, it brings a hearty laugh. But will he still be laughing once the season rolls around and the Falcons have to battle 4A League heavyweights like Old Mill, North County and Annapolis, plus out-of-county nemesis High Point in the opener? Probably. If Bowerman plays well at quarterback, the Falcons can make the playoffs. But the young guys have to mature quickly.
