Head coach: Jim Doyle (second season).

Assistant coaches: John Bodley, John Beckman and Sam Medile.

1991 record: 7-3, Maryland Scholastic Association C Conference champions with St. Paul's.

Returnees: Seniors Brad Fowler (QB-FS), Chris Cossentino (DT-OT), Matt Greer (C), Ben Harries (OT), Dave Lachapelle (SE-OLB), Jamand "Jake" Mack (TB-DB), Chris Pitkin (SE-DB) and Brian Cha (ILB-OG); juniors Dolph Habeck (FB) and Scott Singleton (OG).

Newcomers: Juniors James Carpenter (WR), Drew Gillis (DE), Gene Mcaraeg (RB), Mike Bradley (OT-DT) and Jeff Tice (OG); sophomores Ryan Beard (FL), Jason Butler (OT-DT), John Vereen (OLB-RB-FL), Jason Scott (RB) and Fred Mcaraeg (FB-ILB); freshmen Mike Greer (C), Javaul Mack (DE), Kevin Schelenski (PK-OT-DT) and Tim Libby (OG).

Coach's outlook: "We're pretty small, but we're strong for our size and we're quick. We lost eight starters on defense and seven on offense, but we have a lot of people back at the skilled positions. We're way down in numbers this year so we have to try to avoid injuries. Injuries could be a real factor. My key guys have to stay healthy. Our goal is to beat St. Mary's, as always, and beat St. Paul's. If we can do that, we can be the C Conference champs."

Anne Arundel County Sun outlook: If Doyle's eight two-way standouts can stay healthy, the Admirals could win the league title outright.
