Coach's outlook: "We have a long way to go. The line is fairly decent, but the backfield situation is questionable. Kelly is reliable, but the others. . .I couldn't tell you who's going to start. It'll probably be a fairly tough season for us this year. But they could surprise me. You never know."

Anne Arundel County Sun outlook: After improving by two games over the previous season, Northeast is expected to slip in 1992. Rader believes this team should get better as the season wears on, but the early going could be tough, indeed. Nice size on the line, but who will be running and passing behind it? Just a few of the many questions that need to be answered.
