Head coach: Hayse Henderson (third season).

Assistant coaches: Elliot Harvey, Scott Harmon, Tom Harmon and Mike Venom.

1991 record: 5-5.

Returnees: Seniors Mike Butz (OT-DT), Tyler Wilson (C), Clarence Peacock (FB-K), Daran Brown (DE) and Dave Ratliff (NG); junior Kenny Walker (RB-LB).

Newcomers: Seniors Rick Jamison (RB) and Robert Jackson (SE-CB); juniors Tony Hartly (OT-LB), Mike Ellis (QB-S), Curtis Broum (QB-S) and Sean McNaboe (TE); sophomores Brian McIihargie (PK-QB), Raymond Ottis (RB-S) and Donald Messinese (OT-DT); freshman Joaquin Yates (G-NG).

Coach's outlook: "We have lots of talent, but it's a matter o keeping focused. When you look at what the other teams in the league have returning, you have to say Severna Park and Annapolis are the favorites, but if things go right, we'll be able to stay with them. So far, we're looking pretty good. We're a lot further along than I had anticipated."

Anne Arundel County Sun outlook: With last year's sophomore sensation Kenny Walker gearing up for an even better '92, it's a good bet that Meade will move up another notch and perhaps win six or seven games, provided the defense stays intact.
