Head coach: Bill Zucco (first season).

Assistant coaches: Bob Beauchemin, Dave Maka, Randy Fewell and Jeff Karr.

1991 record: 4-6.

Returnees: Seniors Rich Abrams (OL-DL), Ladrelle Stevens (RB-S), Dan Doffemyre (E), Trevor Shar (G), Greg Booth (G), Chandler Dorsey (RB-S) and Russell Champman (RB); juniors Jeff Donnor (C), Ike Richardson (RB), Tony Costonzo (RB), Kevin Dodson (FB) and John Noon (OL-DL).

Newcomers: Seniors Abe Scrivner (DE), Robert Mason (G), Ross Hollebon (QB) and Donald Queen (LB); juniors Dave Lambert (DE), Pat Mitchell (QB), Zack Rorke (OL), Chris Sparshott (FB), James Stoddard (OE), Todd Warble (DT), Alex Deal (RB), Vance Pack (RB), Geoff Taylor (LB), Jim Golombek (E) and Fred Beadenkopff; sophomores Mike Haertel (FB), Casey Trout (QB), Andy Zurvalec (C), Chris Eakins (G) and Roddy Taylor (DE).

Coach's outlook: "We have to win some games for this program to get back to the way it used to be. Although we're very inexperienced, we can't afford to have a 1-9 or 0-10 season. I'm not saying we have to be 8-2 or 9-1, but it would be nice to be at least .500."

Anne Arundel County Sun outlook: Zucco knows his team has a rough road ahead. If the Wildcats can find a way to stick the ball in the end zone consistently, they might be able to hang in the middle of the county 4A league race.
