A Glen Burnie resident has been arrested in Oregon in the June slaying of a man after an alleged dispute over drugs in Baltimore.
Thomas Peter Bowersox, 31, of the 100 block of Waterfountain Way has been charged with first-degree murder for the death of Joseph Tucker of Edgemere, who was shot in a house in the 1200 block of Aisquith St. on June 11, police said.
Extradition proceedings to return Mr. Bowersox to Maryland for prosecution have been initiated, said Agent Doug Price, a police spokesman.
Mr. Bowersox was arrested in Brookings, Ore., on Wednesday afternoon after police stopped him in his car, a 1990 Acura with Maryland tags, which Baltimore police included in arrest warrants issued for the suspect, Agent Price said.
During a routine investigation, Brookings police learned that Mr. Bowersox was wanted in Baltimore for the murder of Mr. Tucker, Agent Price said.
Daniel W. Sieracki, 27, who had been living with Mr. Bowersox in Glen Burnie and was traveling with him in Oregon, faces charges of being an accessory to murder, police said.
According to police, Mr. Bowersox was identified as a suspect by witnesses of Mr. Tucker's slaying.
