Morrill director of corporate accounts

Michael Morrill has been selected as the director of corporate accounts for R.E. Michel Company.

Mr. Morrill will act as liaison to the air conditioning and heating equipment distributor's largest customers.

Starting in a full-time position for R.E. Michel in 1989, Mr. Morrill was promoted to counterman in 1990. In 1991 he moved to the distribution center to work in the warranty department, becoming a sales representative in January of 1992.

The R.E. Michel Company is the third largest distributor of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment, parts and supplies in the United States.

Firm names Woods property director

Lori Woods has been named property director of Anchor Property Management, one of Anne Arundel County's newest property management firms, which specializes in residential property rental and management.

Ms. Woods brings more than 12 years of experience as a property manager to Anchor, having managed for firms in Atlanta, Ga., Houston, Texas, and in Louisiana.

Corboy joins office of Shannon & Luchs

Linda Corboy recently joined the Annapolis office of Shannon & Luchs Realtors as a sales associate.

Active in the Annapolis community, Mrs. Corboy participates in volunteer work with the St. Margaret's Farm Association and the Alliance for a Drug-Free Annapolis.

Mrs. Corboy resides in Annapolis with her husband and two children. Three sales associates at the Annapolis office of Shannon & Luchs Realtors were recognized recently for outstanding achievements for the second quarter of 1992.

The top professionals were Tom Rose, Ed Kipp and Jon Phillips.

Mr. Rose was honored for Top Total Written Sales, Top Dollar Volume and tied in Top Total Transactions for the second quarter of this year.

Mr. Kipp earned Top Total Listings Sold and tied Top Total Transactions.

Mr. Phillips was recognized for Top First Year Licensee for the Annapolis office.

The Annapolis office was the Top Volume office for Shannon & Luchs in the Prince George's and Anne Arundel County region for the second quarter of 1992. Ellicott City-based Micro Lan has hired Douglas K. Casler to fill the newly created sales development position for the computer consulting company.

Mr. Casler, a resident of Crofton, is responsible for bringing in new clients as well as consulting on computer applications.

The company is a full service consulting firm specializing in the automation of accounting and financial systems for clients in a variety of industries.

With 20 years of computer experience, Casler was previously a partner in a mutli-branch New York City travel agency, where he worked on one of the first programs offered by United Airlines to computerize reservations and ticketing. He has also worked as an automation consultant.
