Lenon Franklin, a retired apartment building superintendent, died of complications to emphysema Monday at his home on Monterey Road in Waverly.

Services for Mr. Franklin, who was 93, were conducted yesterday at the March Funeral Home, 4300 Wabash Ave.

He moved to Baltimore five years ago after working many years as a building superintendent in New York City. The Soperton, Ga., native was a member of the Prince Hall Masons and a deacon at the First Corinthian Baptist Church in New York.

His wife, the former Ida Mae Beacham, died in 1982.

Mr. Franklin is survived by three daughters, Stella Matthews and Lena Carter, both of Baltimore, and Mary Lambert of New York; two sons, James Thomas Franklin of New York and Leonard Franklin Jr. of Baltimore; and numerous grand- and great-grandchildren.
