Two wounded in W. Baltimore shootings Victims sustain head wounds in separate incidents.

Two separate shootings within five minutes in West Baltimore yesterday afternoon left two men with bullet wounds to the head, city police reported.

The first shooting occurred at 4:05 p.m. at the home of Donald Watson Bey, of the 1800 block of W. Fayette St., when he received a gunshot wound to the face, police said.

The shooting is believed to have stemmed from a domestic argument at the home, police said.

A suspect has been identified, but no charges have been filed, police said.

Mr. Watson Bey was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in fair but stable condition today.

Five minutes later, in the basement of a home in the 1400 block of N. Mount St., Darren Brown, 18, was shot once in the head and once in the shoulder by a gunman.

Mr. Brown was listed today in critical but stable condition at Shock Trauma.

Police said the gunman fled the house, and, as of last night, had not been found.
