Woolf retires

Robert L. Woolf, senior vice president of the R. E. Michel Co. Inc. has announced his retirement after 43 years with the company.

Mr. Woolf managed the company's largest accounts, and has been the vice president of sales and marketing for the past 18 years.

For 24 years before his promotion to vice president, Mr. Woolf worked in Michel's sales department.

Michel President Robert E. Michel credits Mr. Woolf with being instrumental in bringing the company into the heating and air conditioning business in the 1950s and into refrigeration in the 1960s.

The company is now the third-largest distributor of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment, parts, and supplies in the United States.

Eaton promoted

Annapolis resident Neal A. Eaton has been promoted to the position of vice president of Legg Mason Realty Group Inc.'s Appraisal Services Division.

With 10 years of experience in real estate evaluation, Mr. Eaton is now responsible for appraisal assignments in the company's offices in the Baltimore--Washington area.

Jeunette moves up

Harbor Hospital Center has named Clark E. Jeunette as vice president, corporate communications for the hospital.

Mr. Jeunette will continue to be responsible for public, community and patient relations, and will now oversee the Hospital's Fund Development Department.

A graduate of Towson State University, Mr. Jeunette has 18 years of executive management experience in public relations and marketing.

He joined Harbor Hospital in 1984 as director of public relations, and is a member of the American Society for Hospital Marketing and Public Relations. Mr. Jeunette is also a member of the Baltimore Harbor Endowment and several other professional associations.

PR accreditation

Marlene Prendergast has successfully completed the requirements for "accredited" status through course work administered by the Accreditation Board of the Public Relations Society or America.

Her Accredited Public Relations (APR) designation signified a high level of professionalism, knowledge and experience in the field of public relations.

Ms. Prendergast is the president of Marlene Prendergast & Associates Inc., an Annapolis-based public relations firm specializing in communications services to individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations, hospitals and health care providers.
