In other action at Lincoln, Jess Wentz of Manchester was sixth and Jeff Shepard of Finksburg was eighth in the 25-lap feature race for sprint cars. Wentz had won his heat and Shepard was fourth in the same heat race.

Shepard started fifth and took the lead on an outside move in the seventh lap. Eventual winner Steve Smith of New Oxford overtook Shepard with an inside move with less than two laps to go.

This time Wentz followed Shepard with another sixth-place finish in the sprint car 25-lap feature. Shepard won his heat, with Wentz third.
