Barber, 58

Services for retired barber Ernest Lake Zickafoose of Brooklyn Park took place at 10 a.m. yesterday, at the Townsend Avenue Baptist Church.

Mr. Zickafoose, 58, died June 11 in Glen Burnie after a lengthy illness.

Originally from Elton, W.Va., he owned and operated Ernie's Barber Shop for 25 years, retiring in 1984.

He was a member of the Townsend Avenue Baptist Church for 30 years. Other interests included gardening and hunting.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Joan E. Zickafoose, son-in-law Earl Williams Jr. and daughter Robin Williams, all of Brooklyn Park; a brother, Linzy Zickafoose of West Virginia; two sisters, Mildred Pomeroy of Brooklyn Park and Dottie Hicks of North Carolina; and his brother and sister-in-law, John and Phyllis Snyder of Brooklyn Park.

Arrangements were by the Singleton Funeral Home.

Margaret E. Conner

Homemaker, 70

Services for Margaret Elizabeth Kline Conner of Ferndale will take place at 11 a.m. today, in the Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Conner, 70, died June 13 at North Arundel Hospital.

Originally from Hastings, Pa., she belonged to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, and the Linthicum-Ferndale chapter of AARP. Other interests included bingo and her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, the late Ivan A. Conner.

Survivors include a daughter, Rita Carlson of Ferndale; a brother, Robert Kline of Edensburg, Pa.; three sisters, Delores Fox and Genevieve Turnbull, both of Edensburg, Pa., and Gertrude Leary of Riverside, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
