A Mass of Christian burial for Edith Marie Parker of Glen Burnie will be offered at 11:30 a.m. June 1, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Mrs. Parker, 64, died May 27 at North Arundel Hospital of lung problems.

Originally from Baltimore, she was a longtime resident of Glen Burnie. She was a former sales associate at the Kreske store in Harundale Mall and the Montgomery Ward store in Glen Burnie, and retired from her career in 1978.

Mrs. Parker was a member of the Funsters Club, the Holy Trinity Altar Guild, and a Eucharistic minister at Holy Trinity Church. Other interests included cooking and spending time in her home with family and friends.

OC Survivors include her husband of 41 years, George W. Parker Jr.

of Glen Burnie; two children, Judith A. Byrne of Severn and George W. Parker III of Pasadena; a sister, Lavinia E. Kerns of Glen Burnie; and four grandchildren.

Arrangements were by the Kirkley Funeral Home.

Catherine J. Hoerl

Nurse, 63

Services for Catherine J. Hoerl of Glen Burnie, a nurse, took place May 29 at the Singleton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hoerl, died May 24 at home after a long illness.

She was a member of the Granite Baptist Church and an auxiliary member of the Odenton Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Raymond Hoerl, two foster sons, Kenneth Grooms and David Muir, and her mother-in-law, Mary V. Hoerl, all of Glen Burnie.

Arrangements were by the Singleton Funeral Home.
