Haussner's, 3244 Eastern Ave., (410) 327-8365. The almost formidable menu seems to offer something for every taste: moose saddle ($20.75), lasagna primavera ($9.30), sauerbraten ($10.35), fried shrimp ($14.50), scallops with shiitake mushrooms ($14.10), vegetable platter, your choice of five from the list of 35 ($7.20). We particularly enjoyed the fried eggplant and the crab imperial. $$ -- moderate. (Last visited 4/92.) Owl Bar, the Belvedere, Charles St. at Chase, (410) 539-1355. The recently reopened Owl Bar looks almost the same as it did in its heyday, with mahogany paneling, stained glass and a magnificent bar. The menu, however, is trendier. The bar food is still the best, though. Go for thick hamburgers, crisp onion rings, good fries. $$ -- moderate. (Last reviewed 5/92.)

ELIZABETH LARGE Harvey's at Greenspring Station, 2360 W. Joppa Road, (410) 296-9526. Some of our food was excellent: a swordfish with two sauces, "Gucci" ravioli. Some of it fell flat. But my biggest complaint was that the service was slow and a bit careless. Still, if you eat in the courtyard and find the right things to order, this could be a wonderful place to have a meal on a beautiful spring day. $$ -- moderate. (Last reviewed 5/92.)
