Raphael Rossetti, former general manager of the Turf Valley Country Club in Ellicott City, died Sunday of heart failure in a Wilmington, Del., hospital. He was 70.

A Mass of Christian burial was being offered today for Mr. Rossetti at St. Joseph's on the Brandywine Roman Catholic Church in Greenville, Del. Services were also being held today at the Lorraine Park Mausoleum Chapel, 5608 Dogwood Road.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, the former Angela C. Giardina; a son, Raphael Gerard Rossetti of York; a daughter, Connie Rossetti Wolkowicz of Ronks, Pa.; a brother, Vincent F. Rossetti of Peachtree City, Ga.; and five grandchildren.

The family suggested memorial contributions to the Little Sisters of Jesus and Mary in Salisbury.
