Russett, a 613-acre planned community located midway between Washington and Baltimore, is having a Festival of Homes to celebrate 13 new model homes Saturday and and Sunday.
As a part of the festivities, energy consultants, interior designers, professional landscape consultants and other experts of interest to new home buyers will be available to offer advice to festival visitors.
Loews' golf deal
Loews Annapolis Hotel announced its 1992 Summer Golf Meeting Package.
Beginning July 1, golfers can flee the Washington area with "Ball and Tee" for only $190 per person. The "Fun, Sun, a Hole in One" package includes transportation from Washington, Maryland or Virginia to Loews Annapolis Hotel. Also included is a complimentary meeting room, continental breakfast, box lunch, and, for every 20 rooms booked, a complimentary staff room.
The package is offered to groups of 20 or more, depending on how many rooms are available.
'It's Good Business'
The Anne Arundel Trade Council is in its second month of production for its regularly scheduled cable television program, "It's Good Business." The program provides tips from the county's business leaders and promotes a positive image of business in the community.
The host of the show is Jeanette Wessel, Trade Council executive vice president, who each month interviews business leaders on different issues.
The show airs at 7 p.m. Wednesdays and 2 p.m. Fridays.
County office honored
The Anne Arundel County Office of Economic Development has won a national award for production of a magazine supplement promoting the BWI Hub, the commercial area surrounding Baltimore-Washington International Airport.
The 24-paged supplement, produced jointly with Crosby Communications Inc., won a Superior Award in the America Economic Development Council's nationwide 1992 Sales Literature and Promotional Materials Competition. Information: 222-7410

With 41 net sales recorded in March, the dollar volume of sales at Russett now exceeds $43 million. Over 5,500 visitors have inspected the variety of town homes and single-family homes offered by the eight builders represented at the Russett community.
Runners deliver roses
Rose Runners, a new floral delivery service in Crofton which specializes in fresh, affordable roses, has delivered more than 950 roses to area companies in its first two weeks of business.
Rose Runners is a division of Dial Wrights Courier Service and offers fast delivery to the Annapolis, Baltimore and Washington areas through radio dispatched vehicles.
Party Palace sign-ups
The Party Palace, a children's action theme party center, announces registration for end-of-school year parties and events.

BTR Realty Inc. announced the lease for 21,705 square feet in its Gateway International II complex to AT & T.

The Anne Arundel Arts Marketing Society has been formed in order to provide marketing outlets and functions to market artists throughout the county.
Services provided by the society will include; photographs, press releases, retail sales opportunity, advertising and layout.

The Chesapeake Bay chapter of the American Institute of Architects is seeking qualified applicants for its annual $500 Architectural Scholarship Award.

Highspire manages dock
The Annapolis Marriott Waterfront Hotel has announced that Highspire Yacht Services of Eastport has been hired to manage the 300-foot dock at the hotel.
Highspire will be the exclusive coordinator for all water activities at the hotel and will be hiring a full-time, maritime-licensed dock master and a complete dock staff, to oversee all boating, as well as a water-activities coordinator.
Addiction center opens
Addiction Assessment and Rehabilitation Services has announced the opening of an office at 1410 Crain Highway, North- Suite 3B, Chadham Executive Park, Glen Burnie.
Addiction Assessment is a multidisciplinary team of professionals who specialize in out-patient services focusing on the treatment of alcoholism and drug abuse. The program is certified by the state Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
UNC Inc., engaged in the manufacturing and remanufacturing of jet engine and aircraft components, announced that earnings per share for the first quarter of 1992 were 13 cents, as compared with 8 cents $.08 in the first quarter of 1991.
Aviation sales were $86.2 million for the first quarter, vs. $83.1 million for the first quarter of 1991. The company also reported that its total debt decreased by $55 million.
'Resource' wins award
