Suns' 10 walks help Phillies win, 7-4

HAGERSTOWN -- The Hagerstown Suns walked 10, aiding the Reading Phillies to a 7-4 victory in a Double-A Eastern League game yesterday.

John Escbar, Tony Trevino and Tom Nuneviller each had two hits for Reading (11-14). Mark Carper was the loser for Hagerstown (11-17), walking six and allowing five runs and five hits in three innings. Mark Smith went 4-for-5 for the Suns with two RBI, and Manny Alexander was 3-for-4.
