Wishnick to speak

Kenneth Wishnick of Columbia will present opening remarks at the Fourth Annual Maryland Recycling Conference Thursday and Friday in Annapolis.

Wishnick, who serves as chairman of the Maryland-Delaware Solid Waste Association, is a divisional vice president for Browning-Ferris Industries' Atlantic Region Headquarters in Linthicum. He has also worked as economic development planner for the Choctaw Indian Tribe in Oklahoma. Dr. Bohne G. Silber, an industrial-organizational psychologist

and president of Silber & Associates, a Columbia-based opinion research firm, announced that the firm is conducting two separate studies for federal government quality management.

Silber & Associates has been hired to conduct a survey of the medical staff of the National Institutes of Health and an international opinion survey of customers of the U.S. government's Defense Courier Service.

The sales and marketing council of the Home Builders Association of Maryland honored Christopher P. Weymouth of Hallmark Builders as the 1991 Rookie Salesperson of the Year at the 15th Annual SMC Award of Excellence Banquet last month.

A native of Howard County, Weymouth graduated from Atholton High School and attended Howard Community College. He graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County as a business major.

Ellen Carr of Columbia has been recertified as Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work, the highest credential status attainable by clinical social workers in the United States.

Carr conducts a clinical practice in psychotherapy at Changes Unlimited in Columbia and has provided mental health care to individuals, couples, families and groups in the area for more than 20 years.

Ruth Burch Dziwulski of Cooksville has joined Elkridge-based Thurlman Eastern's sales staff.

Dziwulski will be responsible for inside sales, which includes retail dealers, remodelers, architects and small builders.

Jubb to manage store

Meg Jubb has been named manager of the Cosmetic Center store in the new Enchanted Shopping Center.

Jubb, who has been with the Cosmetic Center for three years, has managed the store in Bowie.

The new Ellicott City store is the Savage-based business's 39th location.
