Services for secretary Eleanor E. Johnson of Baltimore, formerly of Pasadena, will take place at 10 a.m. today at the Kirkley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson, 57, died May 5 at Deaton Hospital Center after a lengthy illness.

She was originally from Baltimore and worked as a secretary for Goodwill Industries.

An avid Orioles fan, Mrs. Johnson's interests also included needlework and reading.

Survivors include her husband, William Leroy Johnson; two sisters, Peggy Hirschauer of Turkey and Charlette Pohler of Pasadena; and her mother, Regina W. Niederhauser of Glen Burnie.

Elizabeth Shepherd

Educator, 92

Services for retired educator Elizabeth Fisher Shepherd of Harwood will take place at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Christ Episcopal Church, 220 Owensville Road, West River.

Mrs. Shepherd, 92, died May 6 at home after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Gennock and educated in private schools. She attended Madison College in Harrisonburg, Va., and the University of Maryland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Stanforth Shepherd.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Stanforth Shepherd Collinson of Harwood; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Christ Episcopal Church, 220 Owensville Road, West River, Md. 20778.

Frank Simmons Jr.

Foreman, 47

Services for Frank Edward Simmons Jr. of Glen Burnie will take place at 2 p.m. May 11 at the Mount Zoar A.M.E. Church in Conowingo.

Mr. Simmons, 47, died May 4 at home.

Survivors include seven children, Sacha, De'Andre, and Marc Simmons, all of Glen Burnie; Sherita and Alvin Simmons, both of Washington, D.C.; and Mark and Lisa Simmons, both of Cornwall, Pa.; and an aunt, Annie Miller Boddy of Conowingo.

Arrangements were by the Robert Ford Funeral Home of Rising Sun.
